@@Lisa-kd3uh Close, but he goes "Wait a minute, I have a better idea. How about some backstage passes?" Disney ultimately got rid of the cast members saying "Hey Steven, what about some back stage passes?"
This clip reminds me of a very old Disney Channel. Eric Boardman would have small segments called Around The World to tell us about such things as the AVAC System, animatronics, driving around the utilidors or just general news and happenings.
This reminds me of “Imagineer That” on the old Disney channel. I loved that stuff, got me so interested in this type of work. Glad they’re somewhat bringing it back.
@kingbreck Adams Your correct, it also applies for photopass. If you get your photo taken there by Disney, they will position you so you cover up the name on the guitar. They do this for most rides that have a sponser.
Chrisboy04 oh cool! Hey when you get to college be sure to look into their Disney college program and their professional internships. I hear they’re very important step into getting your foot in the door. Plus I’ve already done the Disney college program and I absolutely loved it! I miss it every single day.
Had Walt lived during the 1990's, I have no doubt he would have converted the Monorail to MagLev technology. Unfortunately, America doesn't invest in itself like that anymore.
For your information, while the coaster was designed and manufactured by Vekoma (and Disney), the launch system was made by Electroproject from the Netherland. And the launch system is coded in C (while Tower of Terror is coded in Matlab!).
I'm so happy for this video. Encouraging women to enter STEM fields is so much easier with visable role models. Im sure this is a dream job for many young people out there.
It is really great how you are tying the applied side of STEM to these areas. Too many kids still can't see where great career paths lay whether with deep science or the lighter side. Keep these messages going!
I’m right there with you. I am replying to you but also to anyone else who has fallen into the same boat. Don’t be discouraged. Keep at it if it’s what you really want to do. And if you decide that it’s not for you after a good genuine effort, then know that it’s okay and that you will find what is right for you that will bring you the most joy and happiness. Even though math was the number one break down cause in my younger years, I still really liked it and what. You could do with it. Up till probably 19 it as my dream job to become a mech eng and design roller coasters. It’s literally all I thought about. Then I went to my community college and struggled in the placement tests and through math and beg engineering classes. I was absolutely crushed when I realized that I wouldn’t be able to. Plus the program at my college seemed so stale and lifeless. Years later and like three or four majors later, I landed in graphic design and motion graphics. And while I still obsess over ride and roller coaster engineering, building and inventing things of my own, and enjoy theme parks as a hobby too, I am very happy where I’m at. I always loved art and the reason I love graphic design and motion graphics is because it has given me the chance to touch on endless amounts of careers, people’s backgrounds, all sorts of things. Mech engineering, audio/video editing, art, web design, photography; all these past majors, interests experience, and disciplines believe it or not, I have been in able to use quite often. It has made things very exciting. To all who struggle or have struggled with math, you can do it if you really want to. Learn from me and never be afraid to ask questions in class, or get help from your teacher or a tutor. That is what all the smart kids do for real. They get help if they need it.
Just commented this as well. Why did Disney choose to show off engineering that they didn't even do when they have incredible mechanical engineering projects like their animatronics?
I think only the Disneyland Paris version is the same as Xpress. I rode both R'n'Rs and while the one in Paris is definitely the same as Xpress, I remeber the one at WDW has a different layout. :)
Linear synchronous motors can also be found on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Those are the boxes found in the middle of the track spaced at regular intervals and they increase in number when you get to a spot where the cars speed up or slow down.
Incredicoaster is powered by a LSM launch system (somewhat similar to rock n roller coaster, but without the pusher car). New York Times did a great breakdown of how the ride works, so it's worth looking that one up!
im not going back to disney until 2027. i just got back about a month and a half ago, and it was closed. ive ridden nearly everything aside from smugglers run and the barnstormer due to long waits. im so excited to ride this, i am an aerosmith fan and i finally got over my fear of roller coasters at disney (mostly) so im reallyyyy excited.
that is such a weird way to go about an LSM, generally if you use an LSM launch that's also your breaking system so you'll have the permanent magnets on the train itself
I would love the Tower of Terror video, that is also one of my all time favourite rides. I miss Disney World, I love to fly back there from the UK, got 4 kids and my partner, so I better save. It will take forever 😪
If both shafts of the Tower of Terror dropped at the same time Rock 'N Roller Coaster launched, it would brown out all of Hollywood Studios if they didn't have a separate generator dedicated to just those two rides.
I’m pretty sure it’s called a catch car not a pusher car because if u go to cedar point with top trill and get an amazing back stage tour there it is called the catch car even for other intamin

Oh my god!! Thanks for this video!! Show us more❣️
Hi I see the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith had a fire? I know this is basically a kids channel but when you know how it happened can we know how it happened
I know this is a long shot, some might even say 1000000000000 to 1 odds, but working as a mechanical engineer at Disney world is my absolute dream. Is there anyway y’all can shout at Angel for me for a chat? I will provide what ever contact info necessary here.
Federico Simon ugh... I am aspiring to be a mechanical Engr. I’m currently a student in my last year and have looked forward to the opportunity for a long time, like 7th grade...
