Most of you probably associate the village of Zlatolist with the story of the increasingly popular prophetess Reverend Stoyna. You have probably even visited the renovated monastery complex next to the old church of St. George, where Stoyna spent most of his life. But how many of you have walked the dusty streets of the small village of Zlatolist? Like many other villages in the area, it has a centuries-old history. Moreover, in the dark ages of the Ottoman yoke, its inhabitants were among the few "favored" Bulgarians in the empire. Why was that? Watch the video until the end so you don't miss any interesting fact about Zlatolist and Reverend Stoyna.
Here I will add some important information that I forgot to say in the video. There is a place to eat right in front of the St. George Church, with tables outside and inside, and from there you can also buy delicious homemade honey, which we tried personally🍯! Have a nice walk!
