right here within these walls, I started my journey as a student. I now work in the most valuable company in the world, building next-generation systems, and just watching this video almost makes me cry
Love UNN so much, but I am disappointed some buildings are still not completed. The uncompleted building looking like the Vatican basilica at 4:00 min is still like that. I still don't know what the building was meant for
Thanks for watching. I was left in awe at the sight of the structure and decided to shoot it too even though it is yet to be completed. I hope the management resumes work on the project and completes it
Is Nigeria a serious country at all, a whole state university looks like this?..... C'mon giant, you have a long long way to go. Go to Ghana and see what a university looks like.
@@jstmattyMust a government university be like a poultry farm? Go to Ghana and see government schools and universities. And Nigerians wouldn't let us have peace. Where have all the petro-dollars gone to?.
You people should never disrespect ghana in anything again. And that’s stupid statement you always make that ordinary ghana. We’re not mates at all if this is your state university.
They should MOVE this University to a Location NEAR the Capital City of Enugu......................Amechi Awkunanw, Agbani, Ngwo or even Udi just between Anambra and Enugu State. Then use the Nsukka Site for Agriculture AND Agricultural Processing Center. That is what that Nsukka is GOOD for.
@@jonaschigozie7403 I know Enugu Campus. I lived in Uwani and New Layout. Used to ride from Ogui Road to Nike Grammar School where I worked.........My POINT is that the Nsukka Place is a POOR choice to "SITE" or "PLACE" the Main Campus of University of Nigeria. Just MOVE it to a NEW Site 5 to 10 Miles from City of Enugu with MODERN Buildings and Laboratories.............9th Mile City is GOOD, even Udi. Then see it BEAT ALL Nigerian Universities in all RESPECTS, Beauty, Location, Intelligence, Programs etc.
It would not be economically wise to build a new "main" campus for the school from the scratch in another location. If they have such resources it would be better used to revamp the existing campus and give it the befitting infrastructures
@@jonaschigozie7403 Abuja was built recently. Lagos is still Lagos. Enugu State Governor should get Taxes from LandLords in Ennugu.............at 20% of Annual Rent Payments, you are looking at N60Billion to N80Billion just for ONE Year. N50Billion is ENOUGH to build ANOTHER University in a NEW Location. Just leave the Nsukka Campus.
I'm soory but this university seem too dirty for me. How can you have a whole university with so many unpainted structures. What are the Deans, and the Professors doing about it?
Which state in Nigeria has a population of 34 million? Just check public secondary schools in Ghana on RU-vid and you will see something. Your university looking like a poultry farm
The problem we have in Nigeria is that we are not aesthetically inclined. We are always okay with the basic purpose every structure or infrastructure serves. In Lagos here no one cares how well maintained the vehicle they are boarding is. Provided it can take us to our destination, we are good with that. Same applies to other sectors. I'm so disappointed to see UNN in this order. UNN is in the league of University of Ibadan, Ahmadu Bello University, the premier universities that represented Eastern, Western and Northern Regions respectively. This university has long been given less attention by Federal Government because of its role in the Biafran Nigerian war. The Igbos do cry about marginalization and you can see clearly that ABU and UI are relatively funded than UNN. You can see why universities in Nigeria do go on strke. The structures are in poor condition.
Wow! Not bad but not clean atall compared to Ghana universities ....I now understand why most Nigerians are here bashing their government officials left and right.
Thanks for watching. You may not find this university appealing but it is not the only federal university in Nigeria. There are several reputable universities in Nigeria and you need to see them too before you make your conclusions about Nigerian universities
@@OkwahuManRoofingSystem you have not seen all the great universities in Nigeria na. I would be uploading them one by one so make sure you subscribe to the channel so you would not miss them🙂
Isn't it worrying that after over 60 years of oil and gas drilling a whole university in Nigeria looks so dilapidated and disorganized. Sorry but this is not good! African leaders are shameful but then our leaders are a reflection of the people. This is not good
I just looked up university of Botswana and that of Namibia and say let me check out that of nigeria and i must say am disappointed and ashamed at the same time .what a contry
@@jonaschigozie7403 okay I will but that university is the university of Nigeria anyone will refer to as the university of Nigeria In as much as others are all fedral but non can u compare to university of Namibia nor Botswana
Shame shame unto Nigerian govt , this shdnt even be on RU-vid, why are Nigerian authorities so barbaric, the facilities need to be shut down and students money refunded, what in Gods name is this???????
@@jonaschigozie7403 unfortunately is that bad, it needs to be shut down and proper structural engineering analysis need to be conducted, it is appalling
Aahh why don't they sell paint in Nigeria 😂😂😂 or it's a taboo to paint university campus. What about landscaping, is that also a taboo?😂😂😂 And they call themselves big brother. 😂😂
big egos nothing to show very individualised people they do not have a sense of community that is why they have rich individuals showing off but as a collective nothing to show disjointed and uncaring. very sad so much potential but sad state of affairs.
This University can’t even compete with UDS not to talk of UCC, KNUST or UNIVERSITY OF GHANA Nigerian never in your life compare your universities to Ghana Universities 😂
Thanks for watching. There are many universities belonging to Nigeria you are yet to see. Subscribe to my channel so you don't miss out when I post them.
The university is very dirty and ugly, trash everywhere, overgrown grasses, washed paint, no good lawns, too much portholes. I mean your Alumni can do better, the VC is not doing enough. For a university bearing the name Nigeria I expect more. Take a ride to OAU Ife, you will understand
