Thank you! Yeah, we did. Unfortunately my propel drive is still being worked on and the crazy wind/current made the short paddle a lot tougher than it should’ve been😅
If you cut yourself on any of the rocks in the river, you must immediately clean it out with fresh soap and water not the river water. There is a lot of staf bacteria on the rocks in the river. Also seek medical attention if it does not heal in time. The river is generally clean but I wouldn’t use it to clean out cuts.
That's right off of reddy point dude such good fishing around there. Bull Reds galore when the mullet run comes through. I kinda despise the homeless population here in Jacksonville. They all act helpless and hardly ever clean up after themselves 🤦
Are you saying someone or some people actually live on there??😳 But 💯agree with you. We live in historic Springfield and the mess they leave is ridiculous. Not only from homeless people either. See Mfers open their car windows and tossing out trash constantly
@VISUAL-LY We have people here in Ortega that take advantage of areas like that that cops won't go to so they live there and trash the whole place. Then they just move on to the next area to trash when they do get called out.
@@pedrocordero7898 lol good observation. Yeah, same yak. But i didn’t have my pedal drive that day. I dropped it off with a friend to have it serviced/repaired since the trip before it was making some weird noises and wasn’t turning smoothly. Def the wrong day to kayak without my drive. It was tough!
Bro y’all was fishing in golf style clothing. I know you may be use to flip flops 🩴 but Mother Nature said you going to learn today. At least you have a new fiddler crab spot 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣I actually had flip flops on at the beginning, but they got stuck in the mud and strap broke😅 Thank god I brought some water shoes and that made the experience way more comfortable. Hopefully we both learned a lesson after this! Lol
