Frankly, I am shocked at the lack of extensive destruction for how long that was sitting empty. No real broken glass nor graffiti means it is very rural or hidden to sit so long unmolested by vandals.
@@craiggillett5985 Yep, it is a shoddily-constructed, garishly-decorated monstrosity of a house that needs burning to the ground. The stables were nice though... .
Its amazing that such a grand place seems to be in the middle of no where.. Alittle updating and toned down it would be a wonderful place to raise a family in a "farm style" setting.. Thanks for the tour..
It's far from being in the middle of nowhere, it's located off a major road, Manchester Pike, but is set behind a large set of trees so it can not be viewed from the street. It has an extremely long roadway leading to the house & is situated on a multi-acre farm.
That iron works for that staircase is totally stunning. Restore this house. For someone to just walk away tells a sad story but it’s even sadder if they demolish it. The clothes left the jewelry the gold flakes in those bottles in the bathroom etc this is truly sad
I never miss your video I love to watch but don't forget to inform how what the reason the mansion is abandoned. I have been seeing many more mansions left.
With all due respect, if this is one of the nicest "mansions" you've seen in America, I highly recommend checking out some of the many abandoned vintage mansion videos on RU-vid where you can see true mansions that were built using quality craftsmanship and have original, inspired designs that feature unique and interesting floorplans/layouts. Many of these mansions have interesting stories about their past and/or are considered to be historically significant due to their architecture style or past residents.
Too gold and cold. Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Get job taping, your best so far. Love all the windows, pool & property. Really loved that gate. Those ceilings were really pretty. Never saw anything like that in a home/mansion
Master bedroom ceiling, reminds me of scribbling crayon colors then covering it with black crayon and scratching the black off revealing rainbow underneath.
@@bunbun8001 looks like it was foreclosed on and the owners sold everything they could before moving. Sadly, not many people can afford 3.5 Mil on a house so it sits forever.
This is just how wasteful we are as human beings! There's a large family out there that's hard working who can use a break to go their way that would be happy to renovate this house and live on this property, but the big banks will just sit on it and let it rot away!!!
I love the house the way it is now. All I would do is clean it up. Run me some water in that jetted tub lay back and enjoy the bubbles. You know you'd have to add Mr.Bubbles.
Why wouldn’t this have been sold or given away by now? I guess the previous owners had no taste in interior design. Such a waste. Also- those ‘guest napkins’ are actually one time use towels to dry your hands after using the guest bathroom.
You were a random search result, your Metallica wardrobe rivals mine lol 😆, definitely smashed subscribe and like 👍 on that off the rip . And now your a staple for my wife and I to watch . You are the top 5 at walk through style and also respectful of places and people's things .. that goes a long way in my book ty
I wonder why some closets are full of clothes and some others aren't. And why leave without getting any of these even if you couldn't pay the taxes? Not the furniture, but the clothes... I'm not criticizing. I'd love to know the whole story behind it! Thank you for showing us!
I think in the beginning of the video, he said she got in trouble for tax evasion..... So my guess is jail, restitution etc. Which could explain the stuff being left behind, but why wouldn't someone else connected to her take it?
That is sad as hell. Someone needs to buy this! I wonder what it would take for a property with tax liens - but Christ, it’s ducking stupid the government would let a home sit and rot for the sake of back taxes.
This is what you get by being a crooked politicians.... Taking Notes.... 100% this person was not honest so what about all the other super rich to rich people out there..... As long as you don't get caught cheating or doing something criminal you too can build audaciously over priced things too.... LOL
I've recently came across the whole exploring abandoned homes thing & I'm addicted. Even though nobody cares about these homes & the thing's left behind in them or vandals have destroyed them, he treats them with respect. He picks something up, he gently puts it back, he opens something, he closes it. He's not just throwing, breaking & kicking stuff around when he has every opportunity to do so.
I always feel for the builders who have put so much blood sweat and tears into making these places and then people just caste these incredible works aside as if they were nothing! Perhaps this is a problem with rich people or people who have far too much, they never appreciate anything. I feel I have far greater respect for the work the builder did on my little place as its not a lot but it was what I could afford and we raised all our kids in it and it contains so many beautiful memories and I love it and treat with respect because it is my home.
Imagine being the previous owner and coming across this video. Heartbreaking to see the state of it and then all the comments ripping your taste to bits lol
I can’t see why people have to ruin things if they don’t like it then walk away and why would doors be left unlocked this all baffles me whole thing is stupid
I appreciate your attention to detail. You actually show things that are left behind. Most of the other explorers just fly by items that I want to see.
The ceilings and the cabinet covered with the 24k gold leaf sheets are very costly. The sheets (for one example) could be only 3.15 by 3.15 inches with a total of 10 sheets in one book may run as high as $24.00. Now, do the math to cover an entire ceiling, plus the other uses in the home? For sure someone had an obsession for gold. Why? Who knows. This mansion may sadly be another example of someone who has so much money they're not sure what to use it on. This could be their third, fourth, fifth abandoned mansion. With sadly so much left behind. All the clothing would come into use for the less fortunate. Why not just donate it? This home may be also be a foreclosure. Where their dream was much larger than their bank account!!! Guess we shall never know. Not my style but a beautiful property. Thank you, Big Bankz for sharing.
IF you centered the bed, it would be right up against the door facing. No room for a table beside the bed. Take another look. More centered up against the wall. Still needs to be moved more to the left to make it centered up against the wall. It is off. The bed would be good set up on a stage. The ceiling is dreadful though.
@@inspire734 yes it definitely needs to be moved to the left to make it centered on the wall. And then place decent size side tables on each side of the bed with gorg lamps to distract from that ceiling.
Hello aurora Borealis💕😊🙏🏼💙Good Day to Youuu🤗💕🙏🏼💙I would!!!dearly Love this house for me and buy Golden Retriever ,,Collies (2Lassies 2 horses have my Sister and g,children .live peace quiet clean Enjoy life daily maybe have someone .low income person help them out 🙏🏼💕🤗💖💗💙
Chances are that if she lost that place for financial reasons the family was only given a short period of time to remove personal items then the Financial Institution probably sold all the furnishings to help recover some of the money they were owed. They probably didn't have time to take all their personal items with them. That guest house in the barn was likely for a person that looked after the horses and other animals, I doubt they did it themselves.
I don’t understand why there is that excuse that the people don’t have time to collect there belongings ...They Know full well they have not been paying the mortgage and or taxes months b4 the bank comes and makes them vacate ....Why not start putting things important to you in storage or with relatives before it gets to your deadline ?
@@brucebeamon5460 even more than that if they know that they are going to default on the taxes & or mortgage, why on earth wouldn't they put it up for sale in the hopes that it sells before they foreclose?
@@brucebeamon5460 we didn't see personal belongings such as photos, paperwork, laptops. They would have had time to pack important stuff and apparently they did. Some clothes were left behind but those can be replaced easily.
Couldnt Help but imagine the stories behind those walls, who were the people who lived there? For how long? Also, kind of impressed in a good way that such expensive furniture hasn’t been stolen and sold.
This is absolutely stunning…The ceilings alone got my attention immediately… Wow look at the vibrant colors. This was amazing to watch such detail I’m totally amazed
Next to an Amazon warehouse? Who wants to look at that? This place will be smashed down and put in dumpsters in a matter of hours and the land used for condos or more commercial development.
@@LoganGraceHope At the very beginning, freeze the vid 1 second in and you can see near the top of the screen that huge white cement building spreading from the left side of the screen past the right edge of the screen. It's got semis backed up to it unloading..... whatever. Those numerous black rectangles are open doors where the semis back up to. Who would want that in their backyard.
@@redstone5149 Bathrooms too. They paid someone to do that awful iridescent finish on the ceilings, and cheaped out where you need to put money-Kitchen and bathrooms. The front of the house is absolutely hideous. The pool is nice.
It's awful. Can't believe the amount of people on the comments that think it's wonderful, but we all have different tastes I guess. Just an awful house, impressive but awful.
If I live near this mansion, I wouldn't mind going there to clean it and make it as my secret depressed place.. And will go there with my friend to chill there
What sad is the government will not sell it under it’s value, so someone that had the money could move in it and not let it rot away. If they would sell it under value they could set up a contract that they have to live in it for so many years and not flip it for more money.
It's really frustrating when banks and government let these properties sit and rot. They should be required to do upkeep or sell it. It's kind of gaudy but is such a waste to let it rot. :-/
@@m.v.v.777 Interesting, so what is the taste like? I've seen one once, really much gold though. But I am open for different opinions......and don't want to hurt anybodys feelings.
@@gundula6779 don’t worry, everything is fine! Well, our Oligarchs really enjoy rich style, a lot of gold details, but in general they have a taste and do not combine several styles and choose the color scheme carefully as a rule :) you can find many Russian mansions completed with very fascinating things on Instagram or another social networks. I’m sorry for my bad English btw 😑
