We hike over 5 miles and 2,000 feet up a Vermont mountainside in search of a 200 year old, abandoned marble quarry founded by a family of tombstone carvers. Along the way, we also discover a cave with a tragic history.

THAT WAS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, THANKYOU, YOU TWO, FOR TAKING ME WITH YOU, YOUR SO BRAVE. WHO GRAFFITIED ALL THAT, HOW DAMNED STUPID WOULD THEY BE TO HIKE THAT, THEN RUIN IT. 😭 THANKS SINCERELY BOYS. CAMILLE AUSTRALIA.

Amazing mine with some of the most beautiful ice formations I've ever seen. They must have been breathtaking in person. Too bad there's people who have no respect for anything what so ever.

Your in my back yard! Grew up exploring quarry in the pre graffiti days when it was pure and untouched. Used to ice skate inside the mountain in the winter and rowed a rubber raft around in the summer exploring. Been to the bottom of the bat cave pre gate and white nose syndrome. Added my name to a jar in the bottom that contained some very old dates of those previous as part of an environmental studies program by a local school. Near that cave is an old headstone that said "Tetlaf shot for stealing land" and a year datemark. Lots of history in our area...are we not lucky!!

I can see why you were told that it was even better to explore in the winter. I'll bet part of it is under water in the warmer parts of the year, not to mention that there would be falling water too. It's a shame that people feel the need to vandalize it. My parents told us, as children, that "fools names and fools faces, often appear in public places." That's always stuck with me and I've never had the urge to leave my name on anything...especially not a historical site. This was an incredible explore. Thanks for taking us along.

Awesome! What an incredible place. Why oh WHY do people lack such respect for beautiful things that they choose to deface it! My thoughts also went to the process of getting the harvested stone out and down that mountain! As always, your video has stunning visuals. Thank you both for the wonderful adventure!

Thank you to you both for all of your time and efforts trying to find such an amazing cave for us to all view with you..... so jealous. I don't have caves in the immediate area. But have traveled to a few. I love caving. I know I say this all the time Brad.... but you never disappoint. Your videography is on point as usual, love your music and as a fellow artist I love your illustrations. Thanks again for the views into your mountainous world.
