Hi, we avoided the permits in this case because this mountain-volcano is between the Natural Park of Timanfaya (you need a permit that you should be able to ask for through their web) and the airport CTR. The road that leads there (El Cuervo volcano one) is tricky whereas one side is legal, and the other is illegal due to the CTR just touching it. I suposse and if not, I recommend you to follow the enaire maps since the DJI maps are not very trusty in this case. Hope we helped!
