I live in safe part of town but I always hear the gunshots off troost but any way that building is way scarier than you imagine. You guys are literally just scared of homeless people. And I have met a lot of homeless people in Minneapolis and never have I once felt like they would take my gear and stuff. The homeless aren't the people that you need to be worried about.

Not all homeless people are bad. Yes, some are dangerous, but I've legitimately met over 450 of them.my dad works at a homeless shelter and some are high and drunk a lot, but others are greatful to have a bed and food (at the shelter). I grew up respecting them and doing what I can to help anyone. Be very very very careful in places like these, but no, they may just need a place to sleep. I can almost guarantee that a lot of them don't go there thinking "oh imma sleep here so I can shoot someone." Overall, be careful but know that they aren't all bad or dangerous.

You are right. Most homeless people just need a place to stay but I live about 45 mins away from where they were at (I live in Spring Hill which is a little ways south from of where they were) and there is a lot of crime there and most of the homeless people there do drugs and stuff
