I am still alive everyone! I know I don't post as much but my passion is the same. I hope you enjoy this latest video :-)
During one of my road trips and under one of most beautiful skies this great little horse farm came into view. A a vast property and structures which had all the tell tail signs of decay. Parking quick;ly, I stopped and my journey began.
Sadly this house has been heavily damaged from vandal. Sitting so tall and proud it is easy to become a target. I did find it funny that one of the tags in a closet was multilingual. Despite the damage, the were some artifacts left around which, to no surprise, these were horse loving folks. While dated, the interior seemed like it was a good family place,e toys, books, a spa leaves with the impression these folks liked to spend family time together.
Many rooms to explore, but the basement was a no go zone for flooding.
The Barn seemed looming, well used, but starting to fall apart. Nature will surely claim this, hopefully before the vandals or bulldozers do. Inside were many horse related books, and a signed book by Frank G. Trotts, who was a writer for the Boston Globe, I thought this was really interesting. And a little trip to my childhood, was a spider man comic.
A really great explore for me, and I never ever get tired of finding these places.
