That is some classic industrial archeology. Made with plenty of bricks and then rebar in all of the concrete it's just a pleasure to the eyes. I sure would have loved to have been there to see a small train in there pushing Freight cars to the docks around those curves. Such a shame the US tend not to preserve historic buildings they are pieces of art and have fascinating stories to tell . I'm in the UK England ) and you see old buildings everywhere, churches , cathedrals , pubs , homes all dating back hundreds of yrs my local church parts are still standing from 1080 . 😊
Actually we do. Especially in the Northeast cities where these old mills are repurposed into apartments. Mind you, they're not as old as the ones you find in Europe.
