thats LCIW in st Gabriel..I'm from that area and didn't know it was closed I moved away from there several years back.i worked next door at Hunt correctional men's prison for years..I saw the locker in the beginning of video it said Gemini in the locker.i know their units were named after astrology signs..I used to transport inmates next door.i would bring inmates to courts all over the state.we we're at iberville parish court at the same time the women's prison was at court with a female inmate.and one of the officers for some reason took off all the restraints for the prisoner to go to the restroom and after she came out she assaulted the officers and took off running through the court house and to an elevator during an escape attempt.i was able to chase her down and catch her and thus stopping the escape.that was in the late 1990's..I still recall the inmates name.Benita Alexander..also Antoinette frank was housed there she was the new Orleans cop that committed a few murders and was on death row there.. when they had to move her we next door at the men's prison had to go and escort the transportation cause we carried weapons and they didn't carry weapons at LCIW..anyway enough reminiscing thanks for the video please respond.
