Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska with a ton of outdoor activities and places to see. Check out Ships Creek right in the middle of downtown for some epic inner city fishing, the many lakes and parks within Anchorage, the outlying public land areas for hunting and more. The downtown is also the start of the Ididirod dog sled race to Nome every winter.
