Exploring and Eating in Tribeca, NYC. A Beautiful and Expensive Neighborhood 

What a relief to have discovered that last, magical open door to the bakery!

In 1988, I lived on Duane Street, across from the little triangular park, and the enormously expensive first David Bouley restaurant. Five minute walk from the old World Trade Center towers.

Exactly what I needed after a long day at work! Sending good vibes from Chicagoland!

Tribeca BBQ place looked good. I was surprised there wasnt any bread or side with it...honestly how much would that have cost them to do? even a coleslaw to break up the meat on meat on meat. that croissant looks beautiful!!! that is cool about the free books. in Toronto they call it "stooping". there is an instagram page where people share pics of items they come across or from people who are about to put items out. it is a great way to not over use the landfill. love the fact you are a bbq judge. so your style!
