Exploring Ape Cave Lava Tubes and Jumping Off Icy Cold Lower Lewis Falls 

I set off into the Pacific Northwest to explore the Ape Cave Lava Tubes and jump off the 45' Lower Lewis Falls. The Ape Cave is one of the best lava tubes in the Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument. After being under ground for the 1.5 mile spelunking adventure, I had to spread my wings and fly... off the lovely, icy Lower Lewis Falls. It was a beautiful day exploring the area around the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
