Was the weather warm when you were there? My birthday is in January, and I’d love to stay at this resort, but only if it’s warm enough to visit the beach.

It's a beautiful property, unfortunately the service is poor.

What I like there is the sea/ocean. No waves. Beach is being cleaned daily. You can snorkel with kids and find star fishes, see turtles, hermit crabs etc. I agree that service could be better for the price you pay. My personal ranking: 1) If you want to swim in the sea, go the Barcelo. Because of the bay, almost no waves. 2) If you want rooms, go to the Melia, but sea/ocean might be very wavy on a windy day and they might annoy you about their property sales. 3) If you want restaurants, go the Grand Palldium. Rooms similar to Barcelo, but sea/ocean same as at Melia.

I think the service in Cancun is much better. I stayed at Grand Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún resort in May and the service was top notch

@@joannanguyen5594 We were there in mid January 2023. We didn't see any seeweeds there. Maybe after wavy night seeweeds might hit the beach, but the beach was always cleaned after that (daily). I didn't notice seeweeds at the level it could bother us, and we stayed whole 2 weeks at the beach, not at the pool.
