I found an old but Mint Olympus point and shoot in my mothers storage. Put some batteries in and drove to Seattle 3 hours away. Fantastic color street photos. I love this tiny and sharp 38-105 lens.
No, for sure you can! You do have an automatic option on the ring, and that seems to be working the best with the exposure bar, but you can also change it manually! 😇
@Dodo96OMG damn that is a valid point hahahahahahha Not sure because I can’t remember which apareture I shot once the photos are developed but it’s a great point… I think you are right!
Hi, I just bought the same camera. What battery do you use, there are couple of suggestion on the web but I have no idea which works best? Which one do you use?
@@MoreLife_Aris I've read that alkaline batteries make the meter underexpose. Is that so in your case too and if so how do you compensate for the underexposure
@borislavgerov9700 okay so I am far from being an expert hahah but I didn’t notice too much trouble haha but again… I am a beginner when it come to film photography!
@@MoreLife_Aris I thought it powered the meter too? And since it only shoots in automatic or aperture priority all the time this lack of a battery has been an obstacle for me.
Mmm maybe you re right but I haven’t come any issue yet! But I am also not sure whether the battery still has some juice left or not haha but anyways, they are largely available online (amazon included) ;)
