The French (Belmont) mill, built in 1838, stopped working only in the 20th century. in the middle Since then, it stood unused and slowly disappeared...
in 2001. restoration works of this unique complex have begun.
The idea of revitalization was based on a great respect for the surviving relics of our history and the wonderful landscape of the surroundings of the city of Vilnius.
All authentic buildings and their parts have been carefully preserved and restored, lost parts and elements have been restored, maximally adapting the current purpose to the plan and spatial structures of the old mill buildings.
The subsequent buildings built in this area were reconstructed, giving their exterior architecture and interiors an ethnographic and regional character. And the new buildings are harmoniously combined with the general 19th century. the whole of the building complex.
