patsy bill crystal, our androgynous icon, and karl minogue, bi king, are the official new faces of the lgbtq stuffed animal community whether they like it or not 🥰
I had my birthday there in 3rd grade. They had us walk around the store in a line, me leading the way, with our bears held above our heads chanting “I AM AWESOME I AM AWESOME” ….i was so horrified
Build a Bear was on an episode of Undercover Boss and the CEO seemed very passionate about making it better & better not just the customers, she was so kind to the employees’s needs & wants
My friends took me to this exact Build-A-Bear for my 21st birthday and I am feeling blessed to have been in the same place that Jacob and Lucas would one day visit
I love this! Lol I still have my original bear I made there from 1999. Just this year I decided to buy a new outfit for it. I’m the same age as Lucas. You’re never too old for a teddy bear.
Seeing how nice the Build-a-Bear employees were to you makes me want to go out and support them!! I’ve never been to a BaB and now I’m excited to go as an adult 😂❤
Build a bear was literally my childhood! I once purchased a stuffed dog at the age of 3. I became emotionality attached to her. I genuinely believed she was my daughter. One day, when I was about 8 years old, I went to a park with her. I had lost her. I was never the same since, I now suffer from depression and anxiety. Anyway build a bear is great! 😁
I work in a Build-A-Bear, and I 100% feel like a god over these bears, filling them with stuffing and stitching. Also the heart ceremony is so fun to do, definitely gonna take some inspiration from that employee's heart ceremony to add to mine
PLEASEE THAT WAS SO FUNNY WHEN KARL STARTED LEVITATING HAHA I absolutely loved build-a-bear as a kid and wanted so many bears!! I did get one, it was a rabbit and I still have it!! I hope build-a-bear doesn't go bankrupt omg lol
Having recently gone back to a build a bear to get a present for my mom I can attest it’s just as magical as a 21 year old as it was as an 8 year old 😭😭 I genuinely hope to god this company never goes bankrupt, if I had the funds I would buy one of the stores myself and keep it running. There’s nothing else like bab. It’s just so wholesome and pure. I still have the bear I made in third grade and I’ll keep him until I die and he IS my best friend. His name is Kevin and he’s a brown bear. I love him ❤ P.s. when we went the stuffing lady told us that you can bring your build a bears for free to any location to get restuffed no matter how old they are! It’s a store guarantee. If anyone’s bear needs a little plumping take them to the any bab store and they’ll be glad to restuff it for you!
I don’t know why but this video makes me so happy! You guys should totally do a series where you do other outings like this or buy children’s craft kits to make together.
You guys don’t know how much you make my day, I got home from a long day at work fell asleep woke up pretty bummed my whole evening went into sleeping and now I’m awake watching this it’s hilarious 😂❤️
This was the first time I saw your channel and I love it! The conversation between Karl and Patsy was iconic! It makes me want to go to Build-a-Bear and I’m 42! 🐻🐻❤️
If you guys enjoyed Build-A-Bear...you should check out The Cabbage Patch Hospital in Cleveland GA. There's a whole birthing situation from the magic cabbage tree - a doctor goes out, wiggles the baby cabbage patch out - you recite an oath with the nurse before the adoption - you get to go see the baby in the nursing center getting her checkup/vitals done - etc etc. it was magically beautiful. Yes, I went there for my 25th birthday - and yes I paid for the new born birth experience - and yes I came home with two adopted cabbage patch daughters/custom made dolls - one new born, and one toddler. The toddler had freckles and green eyes like her mom (me) and diamond earrings and long, tumbling curls. Heavenly Skye and Stormy Skye, my sweet babies. I bought them home, so proud - and my mother (aka their GRANDMOTHER) put them in a plastic container and shoved them under her bed after they were home with me for a few months. Still....processing....that..... ANYWHO lol - real talk, it's a fun experience if you're still looking for the magic in life. Road trip time for you guys! The Atlanta Zoo, and on to Cleveland GA to the Cabbage Patch Hospital :) *and a meet and greet perhaps? lol Hope you guys have a great week! I appreciate your little corner of the internet. Keep doing what you do. It makes folks happy :)
At the end when the bears were meeting I was thinking please don't let anyone see what I'm watching and have questions because I could never deny my devotion to the BROS'
I think I went to Build A Bear once when I was like 4, I'm pleasantly surprised they're still up and running. I would have thought the whole appeal of being able to customize something would have not been as exciting for kids now since you can customize things online, and the idea of going to a physical place and seeing physical things happen and that is inherently exciting no matter if the actual things you're watching are thrilling or not, would not have been very popular with kids now. That's fun they're still around, not just for the nostalgia's sake, the concept of the business is quite unique!
omg this is so wholesome, I love it so much 🥰 I actually kinda want to get a build a bear now, I think my old ones must be somewhere in my house though
I had a group birthday party there when I turned 8 and I still look up the “birthday bear” song on my birthday every year. My parents and I also made matching ones when I went off to college which is a memory I hold so close to my heart.
This put a genuine smile on my face! You guys are so funny and this was so wholesome! Hurricane Ian struck my town badly a week ago so it was nice to smile!!💖
That was a lot funnier & entertaining than I thought it would be! - I think I have heard of Build-a-bear (maybe from South Park?) …but have never been, much less seen one. Are they a mid-west thing?? - 👍🏻 Thank you for uploading! Cheers boys!🧸🐻🧸
Me and my mom went to BAB to get a gift for someone and it was an amazing experience. The employee who did the whole assembly of building the bear absolutely delivered. It was fun. :)
me and my friend once went into a build a bear to lay on this giant bear chair they had, and people in the build a bear thought my friend was some contestant from American Idol and kept asking him for pictures, i never went into a build a bear again after that lol
