Exploring California Vineyards! (ft. Alodia) 

I've just finished my last real class of the term with my students and we've been doing some academic housecleaning and review for the final exam coming up at the beginning of next week. So, a kind of mellow glow has settled over me and that made it easy to watch this... I love how the angle of the afternoon sun just builds moments in the day which seem unforgettable. It's a wonderfully subdued shade of amber light that seems like it bounced off of a polished gold coin hanging low in the sky. It's autumn and there is nothing like a walk outside in the afternoon with family and friends. I guess I'm one of those poor fools in a distant, office, in the middle of a sandy land, who sees people completely engaged in the world around them as they walk in the countryside. I'm at my desk, imagining the scent of soil mixed with grass and dried, fallen leaves. I've just closed my eyes and heard the crunch of boots over gravelly paths mixed with tones of good conversation and laughter. I have to admit... I'm just a hair jealous of your afternoon. But, what else is there to see in the day? A walk through the vineyard on a beautiful afternoon is all about possibilities. There was a simple hole in the ground which served as a wonderful balance beam, but with vision and sweat something completely new could emerge... a refreshing infinity pool. Houses and caves with elevators appear from nowhere through forethought and effort. Sometimes there are setbacks, delays, or changes in plans and designs. Our intentions, drive, and will are essential in what we perceive as success, but they may not fall into sync with the divine hand that moves the universe. Sometimes it might be necessary to walk in the sunshine with our loved ones, laugh, and relax. Funny, but it's at times like that, I'm able to regain a sense of purpose and see new sets of possibilities as they rise from the fertile ground below me. Those shots of the fire ravaged land that you took at the end of the vlog are also great for reminding me about life. Fire in a forest starts the cycle of creation over again. The chemicals in the remaining ash left covering the land are responsible for new life exploding all around. So, terrible fire can begin things anew. Put simply, bad shit can make really beautiful things grow. Tonight is "parent-teacher conferences" so there might be some opportunities for "bad shit" to make some wonderful things grow for the kids in Casa O'Brien. On that note... thanks for sharing the sunshine with us! Keep on keepin' on!

Really thought Wil was the more expressive and eloquent about what's between them not until Alodia threw the ball out of the ballpark. It only took 1 vlog to collapse the society against Wil's numerous subtle hints. Thanks Alodia!

Pudra's at it again with the grand entrance riding the trailer with a beer in hand. Classic Pudra... never fails to make me laugh. That is a very nice property -- sure is _mayamanin._ KT, perhaps you should consider colorgrading your drone footage. I don't mean to be picky but it would be nice to see all the colors more lively in the drone footage. It will take a bit of time to learn and apply but once you get the hang of it (and use/create presets), it will be easy.

Sometimes having no busy sched helps. Your unposted vlogs are coming out. Its like watching a movie where at start they show a good scene then after the scene goes back to the past to help viewers understand why the first scene happened.

That's a beautiful vineyard. No wonder you have such great food all the time. The stuff on the trees is Spanish Moss like they have in the creepy Scobby Doo cartoons in the swamps. Maybe you could start a winery on Corregidor since they already have the caves to store the wine. Your poor mudra is always being teased.

Oooh man, the aftermath of those fires is crazy-creepy-scary-unreal-like! Great drone shots dude, love the vineyards. I think the wine you meant is Carlo Rossi... it's the 'best cheap' wine you can get here in the PH I think hahaha. South African wines are also very good, if you wanna try something else than French wines.
