The noise issue is common in this type of apartment building, especially those that are not very high-end and have inferior materials. In China, there is a popular item sold online called a "building shaker," which is specifically used to retaliate against neighbors living upstairs or downstairs. However, since building noise can propagate in multiple directions, it may not necessarily be the direct neighbors above or below you causing the noise, but could also be from residents in adjacent units diagonally across the stairwell. There are many stories online about retaliatory actions using "building shakers" due to the inability to pinpoint the exact source of the noise.

Luckily I have no people next to me. It’s not noisy at my house but I’ve lived in those noisy ones before.

You can check out the video of the inside of my apartment. I talk more about it. But it cost about $300 per month or 2,000¥ to live here at this particular place.

You say 98% foreigners will live in a community like that, how many Chinese? Nice looking buildings, I never lived in an apartment my whole life, how is the soundproofing, do you hear people walking, doing things or flushing the toilets? Guess I am too early, the video on screen is the last one. Have a nice day! Love your vlogs.

I’m the only foreigner living in this community but not many foreigners here in my city. But yeah almost all foreigners in China live in a similar type community

It’s very quiet. You can’t hear the neighbors or traffic. I’ve had a few problems in past with hearing neighbors in other places. It’s quieter if you avoid little kids and old people. Middle aged people seem to be the most quiet

Can you just walk in through the face check to just have a look around the grounds if you don't live there? Cheers 🇦🇺
@viewpointabroad
@viewpointabroad 6 месяцев назад
No , impossible. You have to live there and have your face programmed into the system to be able to have it open for you. Security won’t let you in if you don’t live there.
