My friend I feel you... but generalization jeopardize your common sense. Yes, you right Colombia is not the Oz land much less a paradise of non crime. But, did you ever heard of a mass shooting on a public place in Colombia? Because back in the states, as today there's been 565 mass shooting on 2023. Your reality doesn't entitle you of a generalization, and when you move to establish on foreign country you adapt yourself to the culture and try to make the best of it. Patience and tolerance is the key when you live at broad, focusing in the good always makes everything more easy to adapt. "Those who survive are the one to adapt to changes"...
"I'm from the Philippines but my favorite South American countries that I want to either visit, live in or both someday after the Covid pandemic are Peru, Colombia and Argentina .?!"
Loving your video, the fact you took the time to deeply experience the places you visited and not just to hit the most turistic instagramable spots, and not least the fact that you're pronouncing the names of all the cities in proper Spanish - shows so much respect and cultural awareness. Bravo!
I watched the video till the end without getting bored for a second. Very very informative! I am planning to go to Colombia soon. I think I will be following your footprints hahaha starting from Cartagena and ending around Santa Marta(can't make it to minca probably)
Hello! I am a new subscriber from Colombia! I really enjoyed this documentary about my country, specially when you visited Cartagena to see the castle of San Felipe de Barajas and other places near that wonderful city. Colombia is truly Amazing!
I have a question, my wife and I are flying to Colombia from Arizona USA. On average how much do flights cost within Colombia, for example from Medellin to Cartagena, or Cartagena to Santa Marta. Danke für deine hilfe. Viele grüße. 🙏🏼

This documentary on Colombia is outstanding. It is the best I have ever seen, beautifully filmed, produced, commentary excellent, and you chose not only the main tourist attractions but you went off the beaten track. Congratulations from an English woman who has lived in this delightful country for too long to disclose.
Nice to hear comnents from persons like You. I myself was born in a small Town near villa de Leyva, in Boyacá and decided to emigrate to the US after finishing high school, about six decades ago...and althoug I did relatively well during those decades outside Colombia, I was always nostálgic about many things about Colombia and now I am back retired in a small farm which I inherited..enjoying beatiful landscapes, good food and good people (probably the best of Latinoamérica...
Hi, one question. How did you get your boat to and from the island? This part is sadly missing from the video and the guide. 😢 I am especially interested in that early morning boat. We would like to leave early to cart an early flight. A quick respond would be much appreciated. Loved your guide so far ❤
Incredible video! Thanks for sharing all the beautiful spots in Colombia, I will visit Santa Marta in 3 days I am extremely excited and looking forward to have a lovely time there! Congrats
The Absolute Best Exploring Colombia Video Ever!! KEEP IT UP YOU EARNED A SUBSCRIBER 💯👍👌 I visited Cartagena Boca grande peninsula and did some tours like the volcano mud pit & the castles oh and the pink salt ocean which that is definetely worth to visit, but yea Colombia is fantastic and you really helped me out finding out the hidden gems of the best beaches in Colombia to visit on my next trip again. I thank you a lot and you were very informative and on point💯
@@alejandromartincastrodiaz8403 It mostly touches the Caribbean Sea tho, it isn't completely full of islands. So I don't really consider it as part of the Caribbean islands. 🤨
Steve YOUR blog is so Helpful And I am so Amazed and all shows how many more places we can go in Colombia... can't wait to watch all your videos. Excellent!!! Super!!!
A SI COMO COLON DESCUBRIÓ AMÉRICA YO QUIERO DESCUBRIR LAS MARAVILLAS DE MI PADRE CELESTIAL EN SU CASA VIVO TODA MI VIDA EN SU CASA Y NO LA CONOZCO LO QUE PIDO PARA MI LO PEDÍ PARA TODOS A SI TENGO COMPLETA FELICIDAD NO QUIERO DISFRUTAR SOLA DE LA CASA DE MI PADRE CELESTIAL
Danke für die Tipps! Habe tatsächlich ein paar interessante Anregungen rausgefiltert (bin selber aus Kolumbien, wohne in STR) für meine nächste Reisen...Beste Grüße!
first time watching your videos. 1 suggestion don't use fair prices, I would say using the price you paid or even a range of prices is better. I would think most of us watching videos like this have a plan of visiting so it would be nice to know what to expect as prices to expect. share prices for food and hostel or hotels plz
I’m Colombian, I live in China. Now that I’m miles away from home I truly appreciate having content like this available in RU-vid ! Best Colombian Vlog for sure !
Beautiful but you missed the second tourist destination in Colombia, the Coffee area, Quindio, Risaralda, and Caldas are spectacular small estates and they really represent very well Colombia. The Andes mountains, weather, fauna, flora, and food, are the most diverse and unique in the country.
These guys didnt really touch on some close hidden gems. make sure you check out Valle de Cocora in Salento about 2 hrs out of Medellin and do the hike in reverse. Once finished in Salento swing by Jardín for a couple of days and go paragliding! Its epic. San Gil is also cool place to do some adventure sports like caving and bunjee jumping. In Bogota check out the tour of Egipto Barrio, in the La Calandria
Colombia is a very unsafe country. Many tourists who are robbed end up dying from overdoses of scopolamine in unfortunate circumstances. Validate the news.
Very informative documentary- superb coverage of a variety of cities and rural areas presented in a friendly and exiting way. Thanks a lot -definitely want to go to Columbia now!
[2] One thing that I noticed is that you have tended to show us tantalising glimpses of many bars, restaurants and cafes, but show aspects of the meals for only seconds. A big part of any trip is the dining experience. I recommend that you spend more minutes on each dining experience, give us details of menus and prices, and highlight the cultural context, historical significance, and other interesting details of which foods/drinks are served in each community, et cetera.
THANK YOU for featuring COlombia. My father was Colombian and I lived there for a few years. Haven't been back in 21 years...this made me want to go back.
Very beautiful country tour! This I could really enjoy: colourful natural surroundings; cities and neighbourhoods uplifted and transformed; a country of violence, drugs, and civil war becoming peaceful and welcoming to visitors; breathtaking vistas e.g., c. minute 21:00. Thank you very much!
Man you’re awesome! Thanks for sharing this well detailed and very informative video. I like u putting the name of the hotels and website info. Keep it up!
Its a great !!!!video but, you don't mention anything about how secured are some of those places....I thing you should. I believed that is an important issue! Thank you
