Good intro to Denali NP&P. We hiked the Savage River Alpine Trail. It was very windy and cold in late May, but beautiful shots of the alpine tundra. The NP kennels are well worth a visit: those huskies live like royalty when they are not on the job. You were also lucky to get some clear shots of Denali mountain. We had the same luck but it's often obscured by clouds.

And Yes, hiking poles do come in handy. I use mine a lot!
