Not sure about how substantial the Lost Sector changes are going to actually be, but I do really love the new environments in Forsaken. Can't wait to explore the Dreaming City.
We really need a “See you Space Cowboy” line in this expansion. It’ll be a huge missed opportunity if it wasn’t a line said when talking about Cayde, or the text beneath something like the Ace of Spades.
I don´t think it´s finished either, to be honest. And they can always tune it to give much better rewards anyway. I just really liked the passionate response after Two Tokens.
Alex Pendergast *cough* the average public event rewards *cough stop damage controlling *cough i get an exotic(winds up being a duplicate) every 15-20 heroic public events even with a fireteam medallion popped which gets you increased xp and potentially more loot.
But cayde is also the only character with personality. They don’t have to kill him to make it dark or elicit some emotional response, they can show a darker, more emotional side of him and flesh him out more.
But people wouldn’t be as excited or invested in playing the new expansion if Cayde didn’t die. He’s one of the only characters people give a damn about in Destiny, so if someone else does no one would really care. Plus we’ve already seen the darker or more sad side to Cayde, with his backstory revolving around him losing his memories after being turned into an exo, and forgetting but still trying to remember his son, Ace.
Sealingleek 7 It had to be Cayde, it couldn’t be anyone else. They wanted you to feel for Cayde, and to have revenge on Uldren. And their decision worked that’s for sure
Here's Bungo logic: "Look, they like Cayde 6. Let's make every character crack jokes non stop!" > everyone laughs at how ridiculous the game is with everyone cracking jokes all day long "Look, they are making fun of our game because of too many jokes. Let's kill Cayde 6 and never say a joke for the rest of out lives!" Solid Bungo logic. These guys are so disconnected from what gamers actually like and want from a game. How they made a name for themselves in the gaming industry is a mystery to me.
"The patrol zone will be harder now." The same thing was said about the Dreadnought in D1, but we all know how that turned out. The playthrough build looks high level, and they were cruising through.
just "like" Americans constantly saying "Dude" or "wait what" LOL even though the englishman invented the language "English".....i feel we have evolved the language itself rather than the americans speaking it and stuck in the very basic form of it.
Pato Alarcón Warframe is cool its just tons of P2W and and about the same amount of microtrans as D2. The only real problem I have is that the cutscenes look weird as hell.
Siege_ BI0 This is such a problem in the gaming community. Ignorant people like you passing out assumptions as facts. Warframe isn’t pay to win. It doesn’t have the same amount of micro transactions as Destiny it actually has more. But if you’ve actually played Warframe you’d realize it has the best and most fair free to play set up on the market. Because everything that can be purchased with Microtransactions is purely optional, the game gives you a more than fair opportunity to earn them from just playing. At worst Warframe is pay for extra unnecessary convenience. And I like both Warframe and Destiny. Just putting that out there.
Titan Main But it still hasn’t! I’d like an idea where as time passes, Nessus would slowly fall apart like maybe with the release of Forsaken a huge chunk would be missing from the directory or something, but it’s not. It’s still completely whole!
Cryoid GamingTW07 If he didn’t want to destroy Nessus, then why is his giant whale ship still eating it to this day? He’s already eaten enough of it to suck up the Vex Mind Core, so that’s plenty of materials for Royal Wine. He has to be eating all of Nessus, otherwise he would’ve stopped the Leviathan
Even with what has been shown of Forsaken so far, I still feel D1 has almost a better everything...... ornaments are better, raids, weapon system, Crucible, PVE, subclasses, planets and patrol zones etc. it’s all better in D1.
BricksPicks true, bungie just threw it all out the door for d2 which was pretty dumb on their part, don’t try to fix what’s not broken cough random rolls
But all of the things bar the weapon system are things that take time to develop. Raids, Crucible Balance, PvE content, Subclasses, Planets; you cant expect a game at launch to have more of these things than a game that has been out for years.
BricksPicks Nobody expected it to have more. D2 was shallow at launch. Anybody who expected D2 to have more stuff than D1 was wrong. However, the content at D2 launch was only worth at most 2 dozen hours.
really wish i could afford the dlc and the annual pass but its 70$ and if i buy it seperate itll be even more i feel like some dlcs should be free and some you gotta buy like warmind yes buyable but osiris should be free ya know?
lol... Warframe and Division had "nothing to Destiny 2 looks" - Seriously?! That's a joke I hope. Warframe artstyle is AMAZING and Destinys snowdrop engine is one of the best in the industry. Both those games AT LEAST try to give players envioriments that feel like someone lived in them. In D2 every envoirment looks like movie set - Pretty but without any depth. And I say it as a fan of D1 - I remember that even opening in cosmodrom had better mood than any of the levels in D2
Schizm1 You’ve seen Mercury in the past? Not kidding, my jaw literally dropped at how beautiful it was. You can’t tell me that they don’t even try on their environments, cuz my god Mercury is gorgeous...Nessus too
Yeah man, but it's great exteriors and small map and... well... that's it. Let me put it this way: In Division NYC really feels like a city. You can enter buildings, go to metro, roam around and "feel" the place. Envoirmental storytelling and all. In Warframe - Sure, plenty levels are Destiny-like, pretty but no substance. But Plains of Eidelon and cinematic quests changed it completly (Venus is coming out this year also) and you have HUUUGE open level with city hub, plenty of things to do, lots of lore, quests, smaller things etc. In Destiny 2 - Levels feels like... levels. I never had a feeling of great story hidden behind envoirments. They look like movie sets. It's even worse when I remind myself that opening level design from Destiny 1 were sooo cool. Every envoirment told a story about what happened. You wanted to go at slower pace just to roam around and find out more about the world. Destiny 2 lost it for me. Now it's "how fast I can go from point A to B"
"lost sector's are these very hidden dungeons" lol they are actually shown on the map!! Bungie logic right there... How to wreck what could be a great idea
Kleindog how were they reusing the same map? Sure it’s all on the leviathan but in completely different areas of it, plus the raid lairs were meant to be shorter, as Warmind and CoO were smaller and cheaper DLCs...
TastyBoi so was the dark below and that made a whole new area just for the raid and it was amazing, gets boring fighting bosses not related to the dlc at all
davy v beurden they are All on the map, bungie should of hid them all and they could of been areas to stumble across while exploring, such a huge waste that could of been a great idea, the exploring and mystery in d2 is non existent.
I like how about 6 to 8 minutes of this 12 minute video were based on. I like the graphics.... And I like how the sky box.... And how I like the... Cmon guys, graphics isn't all that makes a game anymore. It's the CONTENT
Kurupt 830 there's only 1 expansion after Curse of Osiris... Warmind. It is much better than Curse of Osiris. You should definitely try it if you've already paid for it as part of the Yr1 content. It shows that Bungie is turning the game around and I expect Forsaken will be when all their changes are implemented. Remember too that all of the Quality of Life updates coming with Forsaken will be free to everyone so no need to pre-order Forsaken if you're on the fence.
The Knight I wouldn't know what other ideas you'd come up with regarding a Super that shared similarities with what you already have. Hunters mainly consist of utilities used for combat. It never comes from within them like a Warlock's... Titans have their Hammers and Shields, but out of the 6 supers they'll have altogether when Forsaken drops, only 3 of them will be Supers creating actual objects, as opposed to all 6 of the Hunter's Supers being object-related. Remember, it has to be a Super related to what you already have because it's simply another Tree you click on within your Subclass that determines what your Super will be, based on similarities to the original one you had at launch.
2:53 How come that rare year one scout had a Forsaken symbol? And this is gonna be good, I know it. Plus, 6:30 that rare looked like the D1 Makeshift Scarf
Why do ppl say war frame is so great I played 2 hrs of it and was like wtf even is this. I’m not a Destiny 2 fan boy btw I kinda hate it compared to D1 in a way. I dnot understand what’s so great about warframe.
I really recommend watching the guide by playstation grenade, cuz I know the first couple hours can be hella confusing. But once you look into all the warframes you can collect along with the different types of weapons and armor there are in the game, I think you might enjoy it
The game looks like a major improvement the skyboxes look amazing. Been playing Warframe for a while but it’s just repetitive. Looks like I’m gonna start playing destiny again.
Ontos you act like it’s going to change... the same thing happened when they showed curse of Osiris and said it was the best loot ever... it was exactly what we got!
The Needless Priest, Adam Blade why not they have shown gameplay with new legendaries and they did when they announce taken king? It’s no different that’s what your reward will be. Don’t kid yourself!
Can someone tell me why there are not a lot of enemy's around I don't understand why I can't see a lot of adds on these maps and its angering me why dose it look hollow and empty please explain ? Am not paying for hollow and empty maps were are the enemy's it looks way to empty why have they done this ??????? Is this not complete is it early gameplay because am not happy watching this
Stop complaining saying it should be free. They need the money for the updates and other dlc's. Yes they messed up and apologized for it. This is quality content and half the updates giving you what you asked are free. Also the scorn aren't a reskin. They have their own style movement and abilities. They're giving u what u want and you still complain.
1. By that logic, you might as well say that any game with a wave of enemies followed by a boss is the same thing. 2. The War Priest was a prisoner in the prison of elders, before he was taken by the house of Winter and brought back to Venus, which is why he's in a cryo cell. It would make sense then that the even bosses, being former prisoners, are trapped in cryo cells. 3. the mechanics are different: different types of bosses spawn, and there's the whole cryo gas thing that slows you down and does damage. I don't remember that from Winter's Run.
TerraCotta Kitty I mean if the shoe fits lol, the point I'm trying to make is it doesnt look new to me. It looks familiar and familiar isn't fun. The min I seen it I instantly seen that d1 strike it doesnt feel like new content it looks reused and repurposed. Imo of course
It's weird to see the fallen house of dusk....I point this out to any other lore nerds out there because it's interesting to note that other fallen are in the tangled shore, I wonder if they're just escaped prisoners or something else!?
Gonna be honest, the dlc dosent look like it's worth the 70$ you guys are free to love the game as much as your like, all good n well. I can't bring myself to shell out all that with how bad the first n second dlc were. The only draw for this dlc was the supers, but even those dont really captive enough to say they are worth the money. I had d2 on release but the campaign was a turn off and the rest of the game was lack luster. I keep seeing warframe pop up in the comments and kind of see where they are coming from. But in all honesty the ideals are always going to be bias. I'd take warframe over d1 or 2 just for the amount of content every year. And by all means I loved d1, but it's my own opinion there. Forsaken shows alot of copy n paste, reskins and reused assets with minor animation changes. The bow isn't much to get excited over, its.. a bow. But hey some people like it, some people don't. If ya do like it, then power to ya and I hope it's something that blows your socks off.
Darkness121 to both of you, I didn't bother buying the dlc. Played those on a friend's account. In order to get the dlc I'd need to buy both past dlc then buy this one. I'm in no way going to pay that much.
Darkness121 but honestly do you really see all this being worth anything past 40? Osiris was a dumpster fire, we all know that. Warmind was not amazing but not bad, protocol being the stand out. If it was 40 for all of that then maybe, but as it stands n from what I've seen, it's nothing that warrants 40+ out my bank account (at least in my opinion.) Like I said if you think it is, by all means go for it.
Same old Destiny... It's sad when the thing that's repeated the most is how good it looks. Bungie has never had a problem with how a game looks. It's the gameplay and replayability they have been slacking on.
Joshua Swaby what makes you say that? The dreadnaught wasn’t even that big, and we’re getting two new locations roughly the size of nessus + new enemies
its legit like a few lost sectors. You know how small they are compare too a planet like edz or io? You havnt really seen anything about this game yet and you are talking out your ass.
