The first time that I saw Animal Kingdom I was blown away. I was just expecting a Disney zoo, but it is so beautiful.....the theming and all of the cool trails are so awesome.

Absolutely love animal kingdom! The atmosphere, sights and sounds are unlike anything else in Disneyworld! Stunning and serene! Even the rain fits in naturally! Look forward to more!

I havent been to animal kingdom, but what I am gathering from your videos is that this park really takes you to a different place- like wow that place you ate was like you were eating somewhere far far away. You'd never know it was in a park in disney world. Someday when I can take my time( and have more than just a day or two at WDW) I will have to check it out. It kinda reminds me of DisneySea in Tokyo, with the water and different areas themed to different countries

14:05 The first time we went in 2005, we were really close up to one of these upside-down bats. The viewing room was in fits of giggles. Why? Because the bat's rather lengthy "little man" was "standing to attention"... And. He. Was. Licking. It... 😳 ... Even the castmember was laughing! One of the best WDW moments 😆 😂

I was at the airport, which used to be McCoy air force base back in 1964. Long before Disney was there. All I saw on taking off to come back to Sacto was miles and miles of swamp. Disney really changed everything in the Orland area. Enjoy your trip, you guys make the best videos.

Yak and Yetis is the best but truly need to eat inside the main restaurant. May need a reservation but the grab and go looked wonderful. I miss animal kingdom the most. Totally got me in the feels when the parrots flew in. It is one of the most beautiful memories I have and cry everytime.

Animal Kingdom is the best! It’s beyond beautiful. I love all of the animals. Say hi to Gino the silver back gorilla for me! I love that big hunk of cuteness!

The parrots were amazing! My dream in life is to be a falconer. That was a Red Tail Hawk on steroids. Was on the ferry heading over to Magic Kingdom and saw a pair of bald eagles circling around the Poly. They had jesses on so they were Disney’s. My son and I were heading to MNSSHP. I said seeing those eagles made my night. All the rest was gravy. I would have gotten emotional like Katie.

One of my favorite AK memories is of the birds. They were sitting on the trees and I was standing next to a family that started to walk off. I told them to wait because something awesome was about to happen. Shortly after the birds all took off and went right over our heads. The family was super surprised and excited. It was their first trip to Disney and asked me for more tips!

What was the weather like I’m seeing some people in short sleeve tshirts and some with long sleeves and some with jackets and some sweatshirts how do you pack for Orlando in July?

It’s very very very hot and humid in July. The colder months where the weather is unpredictable are December through February. Definitely pack rain jackets as well because it’s not uncommon to have rain showers for 5-10 minutes and then it stops and sun comes out.
