Lot more people walking Nicollet Mall today. It is very clean the streets. Looks like business is beginning to picking up too!😀👍 Hennepin Ave. is still under road maintenance! Been like that for 2+ years. 🙁 Thanks!👍

Gotta love the never ending construction! Definitely has perked up a bit over the last week, I saw some patios getting some use out there yesterday. I’m looking forward to the trees budding in the coming weeks and adding some color.

That corner where the Walgreen's sign is in the window use to be "Saks Fifth Avenue," and before that another a big retailer closed it's doors, named Donaldson's was there before Saks, "Woolworth's."also, was across the street on the first and second floor of the IDS building and Woolworth's had a dinner upstairs where all our grandparents would have lunch with their friends. It all was Iconic of downtown Minneapolis, MN., than the Thuggish bunch moved into town from who knows where, and started clowning, petty crime, harassing people, and before you know Businesses closed up shop and moved to who knows where living the city of Minneapolis, to low life's, people who work downtown, and the homelessness bunch Yes, working people use to eat lunch right out on Nicolette Mall during the summer months probably don't see that anymore during the summer.

Thanks for the information. I recently saw a display at the Hennepin county library about the history of department stores in downtown Minneapolis. Hopefully downtown can be revived back to its potential. Very sad to see the streets so empty
