The pattern on the wood floor upstairs in the second home is a Greek pattern called "Meander". You can see the repeating geometric motif of ancient Greece symbolized infinity, unity and the eternal flow of life. This pattern is commonly found in government buildings, courthouses, universities etc. The woodwork in that floor is stunning and took very skilled woodworking artists a long time to lay that. I believe all the water piping you saw was for fire sprinklers in the house or the pool and also an outdoor sprinkler system for the lawn

those water line are high grade pvc not just any plastic. copper pipes burst randomly especially when its freezing out

You’re not too smart copper pipes eventually start rusting PVC pipes are more durable last longer and they don’t rust and it’s very very rarely you have a problem. Sometimes when you don’t know, just be quiet just move on.

The amount of materials that go into these things on the amount of space that they are on could have thousands of people living on it comfortably

I landscape in that area and there are TONS more of those abandoned mansions.. a lot are being demolished tho. One thing Iv noticed when doing my own exploration, one way to figure out how long the place has been abandoned for is to look at what model the TV's are.. That place looks like its been abandoned since at least 2010-2012 id guess. Could be wrong tho as there is surprisingly not as much dust accumulated if that's how long its been sitting. Cool vid guys!
