Exploring Dumyat

A short hill walk climbing to the summit of Dumyat and Castle Law at the western end of The Ochils where there’s an ancient hill fort.
We parked near the Pendreich forest car park to start the walk.

Great video Linda the campsie fells and ochill hills have some great walks and spectacular views when we get a clear day it is Scotland after all keep safe

@@LindaOutdoors I was up there a few weeks ago, the views are amazing for wee hill but I should have done my homework, lot of history....Munroaming Scotlands Mountains 👍

As always, nice video. I was up Dumyat that morning from Menstrie. Great to hear somebody pronouncing Dumyat correctly.

Hi Linda, looks a nice wee walk. I was supposed to be heading up to Scotland tomorrow and i was going via The Kelpies, The Wallace Monument and The Pyramid. This would be a good walk to do whilst in the area but due to the current weather conditions up there l'm having 2nd thoughts?

The snow’s almost gone in the central belt now & hardly any snow left on the Ochils. Hopefully the weather will improve. Chilly 🥶 up here, pack some extra layers when you come. Thanks for watching. 👍

@@LindaOutdoors I went to The Falkirk Wheel while l waited for it to get dark to see The Kelpies at night. A very impressive piece of engineering.

@@LindaOutdoors I did this walk today. I started the walk from the Blairlogie Orchard car park. Didn't get the good weather you had but it wasn't too bad. Great little walk.
