I live in California. Palm Springs is so boring, nothing to do. I think a lot of celebrities liked buying homes out there because it’s away from the craziness of Los Angeles and the paparazzi. They could escape out there. Palm Springs is in the middle of nowhere, a super hot desert city but only an hour and a half drive from L.A. I’m surprised no one has bought and restored Elvis’ Palm Springs home. Maybe no one is motivated to invest in it because there’s not a lot of tourists out there. Thank you Billy for the sneak peek inside the house.

I remember going by that house as a youngster selling magazine subscriptions. It was spring of '74. Elvis answered the door. He looked good, but you could tell his head was feelin' a little woozy. He said i dont need no magazines son, i was hopin' you were selling girl scout cookies.... you got any of those Tagalongs? I heard Joe Esposito laughing in the background. He was eating a bowl of banana pudding on the sofa. I didnt have any, but I knew where to find some. And 20 minutes later i was back with 2 boxes plus a box of thin mints... (it might have been samoas). The King was happy. We hung out for a couple hours. Neither Elvis or Joe had any cash on them for the cookies, so he gave me a gold plated Colt .45 auto which I've carried to this day.

Thank you Billy. I saw your first video of this home. What an interesting tour of this home packed with history of Elvis. Oh I wish someone would restore this magnificent place to as close the original home as possible. So much history and oh the things that happened in this place! The price is untouchable these days to purchase. I hope the owners realize the jewel they have and preserve it. I enjoy all your videos and as soon as I see a notice for a video, I immediately stop and watch as I know it will be priceless. You and Trey are the best. Hi Trey. Keep up the fabulous videos. It is such a heartache to hear how he was planning the future and wondering would things have changed, would we see another major comeback. Sadly Elvis ran out of time. It is great to hear from those who were close to him, that he was not such a recluse or so depressed in his final year. We had that narrative shouted at us for years, but when you hear Sandi Miller or you listen to Ginger Alden they paint a very different picture. Yes he was tired, he had gained weight and he was most certainly exhausted but he was still looking forward. Oh what might have been. Great video, I have seen some photos of the house before but great to have a peak behind the gates. It does appear so run down and seems to be that way for a few years ? Are there plans for the property or will it be demolished and replaced by a new modern home ? Great video and thanks for all you do for Elvis memory and the fans who care.

Hi Spa Guy, and Trey, I just wanted to say how happy I am to actually get to see so much detail in what used to be Elvis' property. At least its not run down and broken to bits like some properties are. It would be great if the new owners returned it back to the way Elvis had it but in all honesty if they aren't Elvis fans they probably want to live there which means unfortunately that any original features will be torn out and replaced .with whatever they want and is important to them. Is there a possibility that you might be able to interview them ?Take Care

I was born and raised in Memphis. In 1973 my family and i moved from Memphis to Palm Springs. My Dad was chief engineer at KMIR the NBC affiliate in Palm Springs. For some reason he was asked to install a TV set at Elvis house in Palm Springs. My Dad said boy we cant get rid of this guy. 😂🤣

That was pretty cool, I'd love to see that in person. I don't know if maybe I missed it or what but do you know who owns it now or is it for sale, etc? I just hope it doesn't get demolished like so many other places do these days. They should make it a place on the historic register so that way it can't be torn down. Most likely this is the place Elvis spent the most time besides Graceland.

Thanks Billy and Trey Enjoyed Chino Canton home! Is that the only home Elvis owned in California or anywhere except Graceland! I know he rented other homes especially in Cali! Very interested especially with Ray Kroc owning that place as Ray had a house here in Arlington Heights Il probably before the Chino Canyon house!

Beautiful Mediterranean style home. Elvis definitely had fine taste on everything He owned from East to west I cam see why He loved it ! Also ,it is bad that could not have been kept and turned in to a museum as Graceland East is. I Guess the old quote fits in “Money talks “ Thank You Spa Guy and Trey for sharing we enjoyed watching . Only those two to my knowledge.. The Monovale house and Hillcrest we both sold before he passed.. He owned a small house in Memphis and it was sold in 1976..

The hot tub is really more of a heated swimming pool I just wonder when it would be cool enough outside to even use a hot tub much less one that is built inside like that..

Thank you Billy hi Trey if your with Billy. For your vedios my shoulders fell by Elvises spirit of Elvis was once their feels life is on a stand still with out Elvis . I don't know if you would under stand me :Elvis felt like a best friend to me in that feelings for that person I miss Elvis 💝 Thank you Billy I'm very happy for your vedio memories lane of Elvis . Three weeks ago I went into my Sydney city. My family and I tour up into the Sydney tower Sydney looking down at the city. It's call Sydney Centrepoint tower I wish you could google Sydney Centrepoint tower if yous cannot travel to Sydney sorry I wasn't on the subject of your vedio of Elvis I do to tour around my childhood times where I was young every thing changes over the years nothing will be kept their no more got'a move in with the times .
