Exploring Franz Josef Glacier 

I was one of the lucky ones who got to walk to and on the glacier in 1999. It simply breaks my heart to see how much it has receded up the mountain like every other glacier on earth. In 1999 it was a long walk to the glacier but not that long now it is just ridiculous! LOL

Just drive to the car park because the walk to the actual glacier is long enough
