Yeah, I try to make the most out of every kind of situation and although I was bummed about the trails, the Lake was beautiful and having Lunch there was actually quite enjoyable! It wasn't very crowded either, so watching some people of all ages swim around in the lake was fun!
Happy birthday! Beautifully done video. What drone were you using. Looks like it has a “follow feature”. I really like that. Good call on turning around when you couldn’t see any blazes forward. Yeah, paper maps only work if you know where you are. Your sandwich made me hungry. I never heard of cream cheese on a sandwich but sounds really good.
I'm so excited to be able to check another State Park off the list! It's a great Lake spot I wouldn't make it a destination to return to, unless my kids wanted to swim in the lake.
Right?! Cream cheese is my go-to in place of Mayo! I will be doing this kind of trip every year for my Birthday! Next Year just might be a backpacking trip...

I'm glad I checked it out, I did catch a lot of wildlife and or see a lot of different butterflies which was sweet. I can mark it off my State Park List.
