Thank you! It’s about a 30 min drive or a 40 min bus ride from Hallstatt!

Yes you can definitely take the bus! We personally rented a vehicle and that’s how we got to the lake BUT the bus actually drops you off right at the lake! No extra walking except venturing around the lake 🙌
