കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലാണ് ഈ പ്രോഗ്രാം നടന്നത് ..... പക്ഷേ കമന്റ് ഇട്ടവരിൽ മലയാളികൾ അധികം ഇല്ല ..... ഹിന്ദോളവും മാൽ കൗൺസും ലയിപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് ശ്രീരഞ്ജിനി & ഗായത്രി Sisters അവതരിപ്പിച്ച സംഗീത വിരുന്ന് അതി ഗംഭീരം .... ശാസ്ത്രീയമായ ചിട്ടവട്ടങ്ങളൊന്നും അറിയില്ല എങ്കിലും നന്നായി ആസ്വദിച്ചു .... എനിക്ക് അഭിനന്ദിക്കാനുള്ളത് ഈ പ്രോഗ്രാം ആ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ക്ഷേത്ര ഭാരവാഹികൾ, Audience എന്നിവരെയാണ് .... കലാസ്വാദകർ തന്നെ👌👌👌👌

SreeRanjani is commanding but Gayatri is more melodious But Indian music is the ultimate winner

I have heard this for the first time in my life and very much impressed. Hats off to sriranjani and Gayatri and the accompaniments.

Both are great I salute to their contribution to Indian sangeetham karnatic sangeetham

کیا بات ھے جانے تیری محفل میں ستمگر دھڑکے ھے دل ے خزانہ خراب اور زیادہ I'm speechless what a performance by these highly talented young ladies,master of their school of thought.although I'm not an expert of any type of music but this was out of this world.....

Not generally a fan of fusion music, this jugalbandi rendition in Hindolam-Malkauns by two gifted exponents nevertheless exceptionally fascinated me very much since first listening a decade ago. The unmistakable dedication, yet informal spontaneity with which both the vocalists complemented each other in a spirit of camaraderie and manifested moto of enthralling their Rasikas comprised the recipe for such a delightful culmination. Hindolam/Malkauns as a splendid Raag, I have always opined, blends within itself both Bhakti bhava (Samagana Lolane in this instance) and Sringara Rasa (Mukh Mod Mod .. a romantic composition first conceived and rendered at the Royal Court of Akbar the Great where Tansen was the presiding Court Musician, going by historical testimony). It is heartening to note that the fortunate connoisseurs who enjoyed this event live belong to a peripheral locality of Palaghat. Music has no boundaries nor does it overlook remote quarters. Kudos to all who made it happen !

Guys and Gals: this program is not in Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Dharwad... ... not even in Tiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Ernakulam. It is is a temple in Pattamnbi, a small village on the outskirts of Palakkad. I am amazed at how eclectic Malayalees ate in appreciating Indian classical music. Its impressive how effortless/nonchalant the violinist is - he looks practically bored - while matching the vocalist note-for-note.

Both the singers have shown tremendous talent by collaboration with their melodious rendition. It is the RAAGA.. THE ULTIMATE WINNER

I think many are taking this rare occasion where Carnatic and Hindustani music come together as a chance to criticize one style over another. If you prefer a different stylistic interpretation, that is not the fault of the raga/instrumentation/artist/even gharana, but is a personal preference (perhaps defined by region of origin or musical background). Perhaps if more people listened with an open mind equally to Carnatic and Hindustani music, they would understand the aesthetic differences that make these styles unique and beautiful on their own while they are united by the same musical/modal theories and improvisational focus. Additionally, to the people saying there are some raagam/raags better sung by male voices than female, please consider joining the rest of us in the 21st century and accepting that virtuosity can be present in all genders, nationalities, and styles, thanks.

what a nice blend between the two ragas either it is said to be carnatic or hindustani, but the rendition gives only an ecstasy of emotions heights not the symbol of the raga or the swaras.. all are one.. one are all..i enjoyed..regards to gayathri

In live concerts it's rare but it happened. 13:17 confusion starts when tabla player was not able to guess the correct beat (he start antra from Sam 1st beat instead of 9th beat), 13:36 she looked at sound operator to get tabla sound properly, she was not sure tabla player is wrong or her hearing is lost and finally there is a video editing cut at 13:42 and all went well till the end of the video. Btw she sang beautifully and gracefully.

Wow In one sentence: IMMORTAL performance. What a melody in those voices. I wish I have it.

It took me more than 3 minutes to figure out what was going on. I vouch for this brilliant hindustani - Karnatik concert with my heart. A gentle suggestion: Gayatri ( the one green saree) should have started first. Not because she sings Malkauns, but because of her serene singing style.

NO where in the word exists two Classical musics . It is only in India we have Hindusthani and Carnatic music. When whole India is one with same culture. , belief and faith in God,. how can one style of music excel the other. Both the styles have the same , equal approach to devinity.
