This large home was originally built in the late 1930’s. it underwent renovation in 1954, 1970 and 1999. it has changed over ownership numerous times over the years, and now sits empty awaiting demolition.
Hi Ethan I can describe that basement in one word SQUALOR. How can anyone live in those conditions??EW🤮. That oven made me want to puke. And it was creepy. The rest of the house was a mess but I’m sure vandals were there. Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see any mold. The sunroom would be nice if it wasn’t loaded with all the junk. That Carlo is hilarious. 🤣 I love when he is on explorations with you. Just you and Carlo should go on explorations. It’s always a good idea to have someone with you. That was a bit of a strange house with an interesting hodge podge of styles. Really messy. Nice fireplace. Would be cool to see in its original 30’s state. Probably pretty cool. Interesting that they added pillars to the front of the house. I hate the idea of things left behind to rot. The basement did seem creepy and poorly kept as if no one had gone down there in many years. Thanks for sharing Ethan. I always enjoy your videos. Take care, be well and stay safe!

Very disappointing with this video. You should have called it . Crap left in a house 18 mins in and all I seen was junk . Nothing about the house no explaining what room is is or showing the rooms. Just the trash left behind. 20 mins I'll never get back. Smh sad
Ethan, I hope you got your information correct on who previously owned this house and left it in this type of state with a lot of things left behind because to me in my opinion, this isn’t Jackie Chan’s house maybe some of his relatives but it’s not his house because he can afford movers to move everything and I do mean everything and leave it in a clean manner. Just curious how you figured out that this was Jackie Chans dream home? Curious is all..He actually has a love child who is living under a bridge in Toronto and has never met her dad. Ive googled everything all the way back to his parents and his homes past and present and never says Canada. Its amazing to read about how his daughter came to be homeless...Please don't think I'm saying You are wrong just can't find anything... Love the videos btw your the only one i watch now ...

I love houses with two staircases. Even though this house has some not so great bits to it, I appreciated the two staircases. Your reaction to the basement was interesting. Always follow your gut.

If you do a lil Google jaxky chan had a daughter who lived and married a Canadian woman and then tried to pull jacky through the mud by saying he abandonned her after she couldn't maintain her upkeep or lifestyle she wanted in Canada ultimately leaving her home and ended up living In essentially a trailer

Ok! first of all this is not a mansion , it’s just a big house, and why the thumbnail saying it’s Jackie Chans house, where is the proof, it’s just a house, and get things right if your going to do this and make a career out of it, the picture was a depiction in Japan nothing close to China.
It's weird that you mentioned that bad aura in the basement of this house. I never used to believe in that kind of stuff either until I was house hunting a few years ago. The agent brought us to this beautiful old cabin looking place right on the river, in a town outside Calgary, where I live. It was beautiful and the upstairs was adorable. I loved the house, until I went into the spare bedroom located in the basement. I felt an overwhelming sadness come over me, like serious depression. I turned white and felt like I was going to puke. I told the agent that I wanted to leave and she looked at me and said "you feel it too don't you" I told her that I felt so depressed that for an instant, I felt suicidal. She told me that it felt like something really sad happened here. As soon as I got back upstairs, the feeling went away and I was back to feeling fine. Needless to say, we didn't buy the house. I tried to find out more info on the property but I had no luck. I've never felt that before and I never want to again. I imagine you have felt a lot of strange things in quite a few of the houses you've been in.
Why buy something for millions of dollars and then just walk away. Why did you buy it in the first place. I don't get it. VERY WASTEFUL considering there are so many people struggling to keep a roof over their heads.😡😡😡😡

It has definitely seen better days. It was beautiful at some point no doubt. I always wonder why people leave so much behind, many different reasons I presume. The apartment space was gross, definitely not taken care of, that is even more difficult to comprehend. Cool adventure as always!😎🤟✌️
lol I’m a professional cleaner and as soon as I saw the dirty hand marks on the wall on your way downstairs I knew it would be bad … oh I wish I could get stuck in and give it a good scrubbing lol
This is James Barrow this house can be saved and fixed up and needs to be redone and cleaned up and the yard needs to clean up it's not good to be demolished it's a beautiful house it's needed to be restored and remodeled and needs new doors and new ceiling and needs new flooring and new windows and New Walls and new counters tops
