I'm a new subscriber, I like your content, you doing a good job by showing the beauty of Cape Town suburbs, we always see touristic places, finally there's someone who shows the other side of the city.
Ahhhh man you just brought back so many memories for me. I went to high school and college around here. I lived in 3 different places in the area. I loved it very much but it's too expensive and there's too much crime for me. You can see the walls and electric fences are very hectic. St. James Church is actually very famous in South Africa because of the Saint James Church massacre. I'm really enjoying the content. I hope you do more Cape Town suburbs before you move on.
I agree, it is expensive in the southern suburbs but I really had good times and good memories here. I'm definitely going doing more of this content now because you're enjoying it. Thank you for watching , liking and commenting ❤
I used to work in Claremont/Kenilworth for 19 years - 4 cars later - every weekday in the traffic from the Northern Suburbs until 2020 when Covid hit and I was let go. I never ever thought about moving closer - the homes in the area are expensive and small and too old - a Victorian era cottage with uneven wooden floors for 1.2 million rand is insanity and not full of character :).
It is expensive but I really enjoyed my stay in this area. I was close to work, I would walk to work..about 10 minutes, I made good friends and I think the area is close to amenities. I'm sorry about your job. Covid brought tough times.
