Speaking of convoys and protocol, It would be nice to do a video on the same for other leaders like governors and cabinet secretaries. Maybe highlight the cost to the taxpayer and the legality of the perks. It's would be a good highlight story to put the new public officials in check.
Pullman bro..u have upgrade too guard.. If im correct Brabus are the one ho make em limos & armoring too. There's also other companies that armor. Brabus armoring g wagons calling em invicta
@@Dexter_76 Hio time Maybach 57 & 62 was the marquee bran(different divisio),coz the flopped & they had merge them together 2014 mercedes Maybach. Maybach 57 & 62 took a beating for Rolls-Royce phantom,
Good content as always. But I beg to differ on one issue. We dont have decoys here in kenyan, just a bunch of chase cars. A decoy should be an exact and spitting same as the original car. In this case if I was a snipper looking to take out the head of state, I would always go for the SUV or Limo bearing the national flag and the presidential standard which would uniquely happen to be just one vehicle in the said motorcade and a direct contrast to 1st word nations where a decoy would bear everything in resemblance to the original presidential car.
I have agreed to differ. He he. Was given the information I used. But I am happy to be corrected. Will go back to my sources informed and challenge them. Thanks a bunch Charles. Be blessed.
Exactly,a decoy is like the ones used by the US president, the BEAST.In his motorcade as was even witnessed during that famous Obama visit, there were several of the Beast chase cars all with flags therefore impossible to determine which beast was the actual one that was carrying the president. Its always that way in all the countries the US president visits including the US itself.Even the millitary choppers he uses are identical. Now that is what we call a decoy.
There's a reason the Pullman is still in service, considering the LCs were replaced. And there was once a real Maybach in the motorcade. That LC200 with a V8 engine carries the armour like its nothing.
what i have noticed with the evolution of Kenyan presidential motorcades, is the signal jamming vehicle.. they seem to have adopted a more universally used applied "secure package" approach
There were several imagine. This is how I established that. So one was with Uhuru's motorcade when he was coming to the stadium. At the same time I was sitting close to another. One of the operatives in the jammer akaniambia hata hawajaiweka on and by that time network ilikuwa hakuna hata.......
As a country we aren't there were journalists are given access to information straight from the ground I don't see testimonials and expert reviews from ppl like statehouse comptroller, head of recce company, maybe former presidential bodyguard officer ..it gives life and truthfulness to the documentary
KENYA HISTORIAN is one of the best and far much better than the crop of reporters we now have in our mainstream media. I can put him in the caliber of Allan Nammu, Shila Sendeyo, Dennis Onsarigo, Asha Mwilu, Joe Ageyo, Dennis Onkari and Emmanuel Juma, all are veterans among others I forgot to mention. The English reporters and documentaries. narrators.
The historian is ahead of many of these people you've mentioned, his work is unique,he has pursued a forgotten dimension in the media, His work is very relevant and I can keep here longer than I keep watching BBC or documentaries from many media houses in Kenya
The outriders are not the first line of defence but the regular police on the ground but it depends on the perspective.Good job Enoch but you didn't cover the presidential assault team or the new armoured vehicle added to the motocared, the ambulance, the communication vehicles, the number of lead cars aka E class presidential escort vehicles
The presidential limo is not a Maybach bro. It is a Mercedes Pullman..Those Prados don't serve as decoys but escorts. A decoy would have to be the exact replica of the Presidential car. I doubt the Lexus was armoured. The window frame and door thickens betray it's non armoured nature. I wish the standard Presidential limousine remained the W100 S600.
@@KenyanHistorian Samahani bro. Maybach nembo yake ni tofauti na Mercedes. Ni kweli zote ziko based on S Class lakini Maybach ni ghali zaidi na sidhani serekali zetu zinaweza kupitisha bajeti ya gari lenye hadhi ya Maybach wakati S class stretch limousine kutoka Pullman zipo. By the way Nembo au logo ya Maybach hua inabandikwa kwenye C pillar au D pillar kwenye stretch limo.
The documentary was not done on observation alone. Almost 💯 of the content came from like 5 sources close to the team. I doubt they misled me on the two prados and Benz being decoys.
Just do this. Read the history of that car and you will see where you are wrong bro. You can start from here. If you need more links I can still share. www.businessinsider.com/mercedes-maybach-limo-armored-s600-pullman-guard-2016-9
@@KenyanHistorian The Benzes are not decoys they are E class sedans while Ile ya Rais ni S Class ..stretched model. A decoy would have to be an exact model as the President's car. I have only seen the Arabs and Americans use decoys....huku Africa such security measures are too costly.
good effort. Gaps include -the ''decoys"" don't serve the purpose as main car is identifiable. Needed to talk about the other vehicles in the motorcade -. the bikes are more ceremonial than security role.
good content though some issues are abit inaccurate for example the Mercedes that carries the president is not a maybach model. its just an armoured mercedes w220 4th generation pullman
Typical of the elegant English many Africans speak , with rolling RRRs and super fast pronunciation , he could teach some of us in the UK a thing or two about how English should in fact be spoken .
There is never a decoy in the presidential motorcade in Kenya.I have seen that, in a US presidents motorcade, two identical cars with flag and presidential standards!!.....take ur time, research well, and don't use words like "decoy" for the thrill of it...also u could have enriched this Doc by comparing with others;UK,US,RUSSIAN,CHINESE,FRENCH...if possible.keep it up.I ADMIRE u r attitude of agreeing to be corrected.
But when they go outside kenya where our enemies are, they ride in a bus. Don't tell us that is highly amoured bus. The thing is, all those security details are left behind and put in one bus like sucks of potatoes. Sad!
The s600 you showed and the one the president uses are not even the same wacha zako. Na Mercedes doesn't do the bullet proofing and bomb proofing themselves they outsource to a company in Germany.
During Kibaki's Govt he bought VW Passats. His Govt The most expensive fuel guzzlers.I am eagerly waiting for Ruto's Govt What will ha buy Maseratis and Lamborghinis.I hope Probox and Corollas.
Yes, I second that, cause, why spend too much on afew individuals 😑 😒 🙄 while the rest of the country is running in/on chaos.... In fact, if my country had a great leader, there won't be a need for so much security,....etc... and this I've seen with other leaders of some countries,...cause the citizens lov u as a leader....
The bus is full of heads of states sio yeye tu🙄. That is how it was planned in order to make thinks faster and not cause congestions in the funneral🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
@@sunsetlyrics4220 yes it made things faster but it might cause a security risk. Imagine if something was to happen. Sai tungekua na continental funerals
@@lawrencecheti5095 That's not just a bus my friend. It has top notch security surrounding it, there is nothing that can happen before it's noticed. Remember it has heads of states and prime ministers and not odinary people.
