Okay. I'm usually skeptical when a place gets so much hype and rave reviews, but honestly, Kotor is worth all the hype! It really is as beautiful as everyone says and we highly recommend you visit either when in Montenegro or a day trip from Croatia. It's a short bus ride from Dubrovnik.
We explore the Old Town ( a bit), take a boat in the Bay (such a great experience), hike St. John's Fortress (and the ladder by accident) and eat some really good food. Eat at Incontro Bar & Food. It's off the beaten path; great food and prices. Sweet girl who just opened up so please support her!
Kotor really is special.
