Exploring Kyoto with FujiFilm X10

BTS 25: On a recent trip for work I was able to spend an afternoon doing one of my fave Kyoto photo walks. I started in Yasaka Shrine and made my way along Higashiyama to end in Kiyomizudera. I didn't make it in time to enter Kiyomizu, and lost the light by that time, but still had a blast on my walk.
All the photos in the video were taken with my FujiFilm X10 and the b-roll was taken with my Nikon Z9 as I want to get better filming with this camera, and the video quality is so much better than that of the X10. I would love to hear what you think of this combination.
Let me know if there is any where I could improve with this videos. I am having a blast with the shooting/editing process these days so any tips would be amazing!!

Because of your videos i bought an X10 today i am so happy with it can't ask for a better point and shoot camera 👍 Gonna do a trip to japan next year for sure this culture and citys are just awesome to watch 😮

from todays point of view would you say the ZF with a pancake 40 mm would e AS easy and good for this street work? Maybe superiour?

Thanks!! The X10 doesn't really have the best film simulations like the X100V so I always end up editing on my computer or phone depending on how fast I want to share an image.

just bought my x10 today and im super stoked to go on my street photography baby steps, one question tho, do you shoot jpg or raw, and do you edit the photos in this video?

That's great you could pick one up! I shoot RAW + Jpeg so that if I want to edit the photo in a hurry I can send it to my phone and edit the JPEG there, but if I don’t edit till I get back home I will edit the RAW. I did edit all the photos in this video. Good luck with your X10!

@@PetrusAdamOfficial none, I shoot in RAW and edit myself. The X10 is quite limited in it's film simulations.

@@francisco7517 the X10 only has a few film presets to play with, so I end up editing on my phone/computer after the fact pretty much 100% of the time.

Nice video, again 🙂 The more I see of your Japan videos the more I would like to go and visit the country. How did you do the b-roll? Was your Z9 just strapped around your neck? Because in one frame it looked that you have another one over your shoulder. 🤔

Thanks!! I wanted to travel light so ya, just had the Z9 on a camera strap around my neck/shoulder and pulled it out when I wanted it. The X10 is so small I can just toss it in my jacket pocket when shooting the b-roll so zero stress! I hope you can get over here some time for a visit!!

I used to have x10 too. but his autofocus was very slow for me and i sold it. and now i sorry about it. looking on your photos I'm want to try it again😅
