Let's Discover Lake Kivu in Rwanda

Today I am taking you to where Rwanda meets the Congo Border. This is a journey from Musanze City(Ruhengeri) to Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. Gisenyi is also known as Rubavu and is a border town, on the Congo side we have Goma City. What is our first impression of this place? Let's find out in the video. Btw you won't believe it when I tell you that Lake Kivu is considered one of Africa's deadliest lakes or Rwanda's Killer Lake. On this visit to Lake Kivu, we will learn that Rwanda produces methane gas from the lake. When you visit Rwanda and specifically Rubavu here are some of the things to do; have excursions around the Lake like a boat ride, swim or catch the sunset from the Lake Kivu beach, enjoy the Nyamyumba Hotsprings, hike Mt Rubavu, Hiking Mt Nengo, the Congo Nile Trail, checking where Rwanda makes its beer among other things to do while in Gisenyi.
