A hidden food joint strategically located right opposite IIFT College is Laxman Fast Food which is popularly known as Laxman Dhaba. It is quite a haunt for people looking out for the ultimate dhaba food experience. With imposing buildings on one side, forested area behind, and a heavy tree cover, this place gives the perfect settings for a meal in the open. The dhaba is neat and clean and completes the enjoyable street food experience.
Easy on the pocket, this dhaba is generally frequented by students and people who love their parathas. Besides the keema paratha, their chicken paratha is really popular too, along with the vegetarian options like aloo, gobhi and paneer paratha. Other interesting items on the menu include Macaroni, Maggi & its variations, Chinese items, vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries - the Sexy Paneer & Sexy Chicken that we tried, and of course, their chai!
Price for 2 is around Rs.400, which is pretty reasonable for a filling meal.
