Malaysia is so intriguing. I love the culture. I'm going to try some Malaysian food tomorrow. I hope the American restaurant can do it well. They say it's Malaysian food.
Putrajaya is the best place to go on weekends at night😌.. most people spend their time with family here..😍 especially at “Dataran Putrajaya” Fun fact: the biggest roundabout in the world located at “Putrajaya”.. other than use for a cars route.. this roundabout also can hold an independents day parade.👍🏼
Love your vlog! We will be in Malaysia next weekend. The tree you saw growing sideways with the pretty pink flowers is a frangipani. There’s lots of varieties and they grow in most parts of Australia 🇦🇺 too, with the most common one being the white flower with the yellow centre.
Frangipani has been used in perfumery for thousand of years. Among top end modern perfume that use frangipani are:- 1. Jo Malone - Frangipani cologne 2. Parfums de Marly - Cassini EDP 3. Michael Kors - Sparkling Blush EDP 4. Chanel - Beige EDP 5. Bvlgari - Omnia Pink Sapphire EDT 6. Aerin Lauder - Hibiscus Palm EDP
What a stunning video guys! As for me, this is the best video of Putrajaya discovered by a tourist@traveller so far. Perfect couple..lovely & smart 😀👍 ❤ all your videos in Malaysia. Appreciated to your good efforts and hard works Attila & Zae ✌😁 🇨🇦
We really do put a lot of work into the videos, from doing the research, planning, filming and editing. We’re working 7 days a week, non stop to put them out, so comments that are appreciating the videos really help motivate us to keep working hard 🙏🏼
@@AttilaAndZae Keep up the great work guys! 😀👍 If two of you are playing your role in helping each other while making a very good video, no one can stop you from keep growing to be a successful travel vlogger in the near future. Exploring from one country to another. Please consider replying to the comments is also a big booster to help. An hour a day is just a piece of cake..rite Zae? haha ✌😁
Great camera work again and very interesting takes of the buildings and mosques. Btw the tree with the pretty pink flowers is called Frangipani, growing in the Tropics all over the world also in different colours.
One of the best travel video on Putrajaya city! The lake is not 100% artificial though... the area used to be a large swap from which the lake is artificially formed.
@@AttilaAndZae it's naturally water filter and just like unseen river from top serdang hill until putrajaya. That's why from the beginning british establish agricultural farm and college in serdang. Nowadays its university putra campus and others agriculture agency. In fact putrajaya also originally from various plantations area.
They are ambassadors to most countries. Just don't try to rip them off or be a pushy salesperson. They also point out the negative experiences they encounter.
Fun facts to ponder: Peninsular Malaysia (and all of Southeast Asia) are within the Equator line with tropical hot (not as hot as the desert) humid temperature. Therefore, throughout history, buildings (including palaces for the royals) were made of wood (not bricks and stones), thus, you can never found any remains and ruins of the dwellings of the ancient kingdoms/peoples like in China, Japan, India, Europe and some other cool temperature areas, except a few places for worships and commerce like the Angkor Wat, Borobudur and the industrial area/port in Lembah Bujang/Merbok in Kedah.
This city is soooo interesting....there's no one walking around and hardly any cars. It's like a sci-fi or zombie movie where everyone has disappeared. Is it because everyone is indoors to stay away from the heat? So cool and weird at the same time.
Probably they went here on weekends. During office hours or nights on weekends there will be lots of traffic. Or during big events, you have to squeeze in to get a parking spot. 😁😁
Putrajaya has some really nice parks too ... on weekends Putrajaya does come alive as people from all over klang valley come to do all sorts of activities here...
Oh dear the weather now is extremely hot this month.Really appreciate you guys for showing around this part of Malaysia even i myself being a malaysian yet to explore😄Thanks
Putrajaya used to host yearly Walkathon or Running event by some organisation during the weekends pre-pandemic era. Loves it because of the huge roads and beautiful scenery when walking or running by.
U guys got it right, Putrajaya is d Malaysian govt administrative city, but I'm not sure d source of labelling Putrajaya as a artificial city, all city starts from somewhere. Las Vegas, Dubai, Abu Dhabi were once a desert. Putrajaya was once a huge plantations area for palm oil trees.
@@AttilaAndZae I used to work in d KLCC site office, a temporary office block with 2 wings, d design of d site office was replicated as d Putrajaya site office. From KLCC project team came Putrajaya project team. I still remember how my late boss n his team reviewed n scrutinized d Putrajaya master plan on a weekly basis at d KLCC site office (now d site is KLCCCEC), sometimes in Putrajaya site office. Few of d buildings in Putrajaya, were d designs of my ex colleague, formerly an architect in d KLCC project team, I can only remember that d prime minister's office was one of his designs. 🙂
You can travel all over the city using the Nadi Putrajaya bus. By next year the MRT trains connecting Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya and Cyberjaya (Malaysia's Silicon Valley) will be completed. So it would be much cheaper to go there from Kuala Lumpur with higher frequency of subway type trains.
Your drone shots are as usual amazing! I couldn’t help but wished you both had an eScooter while watching this video. Thanks again and hope you get to catch up on some me-time while in Malaysia. We’re not as crowded as many of our neighbors so it’s a good country to just relax a bit in. It might be a good idea to try to enjoy some affordable seafood while you’re there - we have very good fresh seafood here, and they’re prepared very differently to other places (or skip this if you’re not into seafood ;)
Thank you so much 🙏🏽 we thought about the scooters but we didn’t see any 😂, as for the seafood, we do try and eat it when we are in the mood! We had a little bit in our previous video!
Pls explore & do more Putrajaya video. There are others stunning places you can check out like:- 1. Astaka Morocco 2. Monumen Millennium 3. G2G Animal Garden 4. Skyrides Festivals Park 5. Cruise Tasik Putrajaya 6. Taman Saujana Hijau Putrajaya 7. Putrajaya Steps 8. Pantai Floria 9. Anjung Floria 10. Taman Wetland Putrajaya
I really like the video of you both and I really appreciate the way you both made a presentation to us, I hope you both are happy to visit malaysia, I hope this is not the first and last time you both visit malaysia, hopefully after this you both come again, I will definitely miss you both while in malaysia
We are definitely planning on coming back! We loved our time here, but we were not able to see everything this time, so we will need to come back to see the rest. Thank you for your hospitality 🙏🏼
There are also waterfalls and hikes around Kuala Lumpur. One of the nearest is the Kanching waterfall. There is also the Sg Congkak in Hulu Langat and Lata Medang in Kuala Kubu. You can also head for the hills for a respite from the heat. Fraser's Hill,Genting Highlands and Janda Baik.
Putrajaya location was formerly a rubber estate, Prang Besar Estate, some of the lakes were built from swamp..I spent few years there, we were the building material supplier for some of the buildings u saw.
@@nickauclair1477 yes rubber trees, those we tap for latex used for making rubber products such as tyre, etc ..some of the rubber tree clones planted in other estates were developed/researched in this estate were named with the initial PB(Prang Besar), eg. PB500 etc .
Yeah, the people in the comments are telling us that it was because of the heat. People typically come out in the afternoon or night time, but we’re complete savages. 😂
The only “registration” I’ve ever done with any of my drones was through DJI when I first purchase the drone. I had a Phantom 4 in the past, which weights 1.38KG and I didn’t do any special registration for that either.
People of Putrajaya and others from outside Putrajaya can be seen all over the places of Putrajaya doing exercise like cycling, brisk walking and jogging on Saturday and Sunday. I myself is one of them eventhough I'm no longer working there. I just love the beautiful scenery there...
Hey welcome to putrajaya, my new hometown. hope u enjoy your travels and stay here. I always Cycle around Putrajaya city here with my folding bike. I'm local here, me and my family started to moved and live in Putrajaya since 2012 from a mix-multiracial metropolitan city Subang Jaya. Been living here for 10 years now. In the beginning it was just only forest and empty lands, no night fun activities haha. it was super bored back then. Thank god they now build more buildings, malls and more activities to do now, still i wish they have more night activities like everyday Buskers performance, live shows etc.
Have you been to Kg Baru yet? There's so much food there. Take the LRT to go to Kampung Bharu station. There is also Saloma Bridge for the pedestrian to go to KLCC and Twin Tower. You missed the park and Light show last time which is behind the twin towers.
We usually don’t go to shopping malls, because we don’t have room in our luggage to buy anything. Sometimes we go just to check out the mall and walk around. 😊
The Greater KL or Klang Valley covering KL and Selangor states have more than 100 supermodern subcities with 15 milion inhabitants complete with 300km lenght of MRT/LRT covering all areas. To explore all this subcities take years with hundreds of hypermarket
Because of the super hot weather malaysians dont really walk outside during the day, putrajaya gets livelier in the evening when you can see many people enjoying the parks and city itself especially on weekends
They are growing their channel fast. Picking up new viewers everyday. It's great when we can share the videos or even just like and comment and comment on other peoples comments you like
This city is well known for outdoor activities like jogging, cycling etc2 especially in the morning and evening. Maybe looks empty in the afternoon as Malaysians didnt likes to go outside under the hot sun at noon LOL and maybe due to weekend since all government staff are not working.
@@AttilaAndZae lol and yess Malaysians will look at you not because you are a tourist but amazed with you guys walking in the peak of hot temperature 🤣🤣🤣
Walk at an evening after 6pm..not so hot at that time...then enjoy the sunset...come at weekend (sat n sun)...not many car....many people walk at park beside masjid putrajaya....
6:30 - That’s where my wife been working, the building behind (Accounting General Dept). I’ve been living in Putrajaya since 2007,where this place still under development.
And for info, for next year you can directly go to Putrajaya by MRT Putrajaya Line from Kuala Lumpur. The MRT construction was in progress right now. The station is near the Putrajaya Hospital, beside Putrajaya sentral bus station
Malaysia is a humid country. I really salute both of you can stand the heat of the afternoon.. please drink alot of water to maintain hydrated.. thank you very much for promoting Putrajaya to the world. I work in Putrajaya in one of the building you showed in your video. ☺️
You should take bike to visit around residences called Presint 1, Presint 2..there are thousand of luxury and multi millions ringgit banglos and condos for govt staff and public which each banglos have a very unique modern design
Im dying even staying in my room because of the hot weather. You guys are crazy to go walking around in the heat. 😆 i love that putrajaya is very well [lanned in terms of walkways for pedestrians. i wish all places in malaysia are planned this way. reduce the dependency on cars. ive never been in that iron mosque before. thanks for showing me around.
Thank you for watching Max 🙏🏼 We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Putrajaya is a very well planned city indeed! Also, you’re not wrong about staying inside in this heat 😂 🥵
Putrajaya is the brainchild of former PM Tun Dr Mahathir...he is still alive 99 yrs old...the whole country indebted to him for making Malaysia well known with beautiful clean cities for world tourists like you guys to come and enjoy these beauty
The months of April and May is hot and humid. That’s why nobody is walking or cycling in the afternoon. The best time to visit is in December (wet and cool) and January (dry and cool).
Imo the extensive concrete pavings in many places contribute to the high mid-day temperatures. In fact many areas surrounding Putrajaya are also developing fast. If not for the many large water bodies and parks the area would be even hotter.
I've been recommending people to go here, for 10 years now (most Western tourists skip it completely), and without fail, they were all blown away by the beauty that is Putrajaya.
You guys missed a lot of places - putrajaya wetlands & botanical ( you can take boat rides or rent a bicycle), saujana hijau, warisan@p16 if you want to try local food (gv me kampung house vibes), the herbal garden which is within walking distance from the pm's office, food trucks area, etc.
A story circulating around the time Putrajaya was being built. The planners wanted several fancy bridges for the city but the engineers said there were no rivers to cross. So the planners suggested an artificial lake for the bridges to cross. Malaysia Boleh!!
There are just so many gorgeous places to visit that it’s impossible to see them all on a short timeline, but we try to pick interesting spots that we’d like to see, as well as spots that we think our viewers would enjoy 😊
KLCC project in d centre of KL was made possible with many consultants, especially d consultancy of Lehrer Mcgovern based in d UK. It was also a technology transfer. With this new knowledge, Malaysia was able to build a better city such as Putrajaya.
@@AttilaAndZae I remember that there were dozens of consultants working in d KLCC site office, many of them had worked for major projects around d world, d Canary Wharf in London etc. I can only recall few of them, one used to work for d project of Disney Paris, few from America, few from UK, few from Europe, architects n engineers from d USA, d local project team, all contributed significantly to d KLCC project n some of them r transferred to Putrajaya project team. I was supposed to join as an interior design apprentice for d PM's office but I remained in KLCC until vss. 🙂
If the air is clean without haze pollution, the sky will be bright and the rate of sun light penetration is very high. That is why the ground temperature is very hot in KL and Putrajaya.
@@AttilaAndZae no worries 😘😉 Its just the weather is scorching hot to walk around at that time of the day. We normally jog or take breeze walk either early morning or late afternoons. Stay hydrated if you have to walk at that time and avoid unnecessary heat 🤗
Haaa greetings my fellow lovely couple 😁 been to that mosque but at night, during Ramadan. Its very gorgeous, stunning and all with the lights on. Happy to see you guys enjoying the city 👍 Side note: at day time it can be very hot there, so nobody is really going to walk around. And also the clear sky could be deceiving as it would rain anytime
@@nickauclair1477 true that. At day time you can view the architecture and the surrounding a bit more detail with the downside its kinda super hot, but at night time where the beauty shines, less details but ay least cooler ✌️
The great challenge about putrajaya is security because its less of gated. Everyone may come nearest & freely to any building. Really huge challenges for police and security staff to take look every building and housing areas.😅
That’s very interesting, we would assume the entrance to a building would have security tho. We did not try to go inside and government buildings so we’re not sure 😅
@@AttilaAndZae normally govt buildings had cctv and security staff but not for most housing area.. actually no problem about that but there are a lot of foreign workers from industrial area surrounding putrajaya.. that's huge challenges for police to take care about security matters
@@AttilaAndZae I don't think fishing in any lakes are open for public. Just to ensure everything is in good condition and well-maintained. But I was joined in the fishing tournaments which was also organized by the Putrajaya as a host. Couple of times many years ago. About a thousand of people were in the game. √\~🐟🐠
