It is totally a desi thing to crumble papad on rice, a lot of children(and me) do it. If you did that without seeing anybody doing it, you've gone a level up on desi charts.
I literally eat papad(The crispy thingy) the same way you did hahaha just split it over the rice and after watching this, I'm glad to know that i'm not alone

keep some medicines like crocin etc along with you all the time...whenever you feel sick ... pop one !! you would be fine when you are travelling keeping these things for emergency is basic :)
I watch your videos and in the last 2 you were feeling shivering or sick. Please note that can also happen is you do not drink enough water and do not go to the loo often (water retention in the bladder causes urinary problems leading to shivering especially at night). Stop any fizzy drinks. Do not drink cold water or water provided by the hotel or restaurant. Always use mineral water (and room temperature - drink 2 litres minimum per day and drink say 200 ml every 1 hour). Do not eat foods like daal too much as they can cause urinary problems - eat cucumber at night (that too fresh - buy t from a local store and keep in your room) and do not eat mixed salads they inevitably catch bacteria, if not prepared fresh. Eat only HOT freshly prepared food. Avoid too much tomato.And wear some fleece lined or wooden sweaters - looks like you are wearing a cardigan which is not too warm. Finally, the STRESS might be causing it due to long walks or just not being able to meet people who can carry a decent conversation, doing things solo cannot be done for long - get into some people based activity. Sorry to go into so much details but these things I have learnt from my own experience. Hope you don't mind - maybe this applies to you and sorry if I got a bit personal on the doing it alone thing.
I think other people may have commented this, but it might just be the weather making you feel unwell. The weather at this time of year is very humid and as a result, a lot of people get sick very easily
Divya Sambasivan May be..there will be some difference in taste.Also people eat differently.Some in kerala eat like this.Some will also mix payasam with papadam and eat.

Places change air change water change and body responses. Even if you are traveling just 50 kms change happen and body responses and you can tell that by the no of times going to bathroom. 😬 That's India. Happens to me and every one more or less.
This is clay oven NAAN, bt u shuld eat it as soon as possible coz, 5-10 minute latr this NAAN is hard to chew. In india ROTI is made on iron Pan bt NAAN is made in clay oven nd NAAN has many varieties. Buttr NAAN, Paneer NAAN

every sunday morning while walking back home i come across this huge apple tree which is basically in a private property but its branches come across the fences on the side walk so every sunday i get a free apple but unfortunately today i couldnt take one bcaz few other people were behind me and i thought they might judge me. I am confused and a little guilty of loosing my Indianness.
There are so many possibilities - your body could have a reaction to the height difference between Holland and Manali - that is if you grew up in Holland - other than that there is virus of course.....but yes - go to a doctor to asses if infection is the case.....:-)

+Nitish Sharma Thank you so much! In general I stick to crowded places. If I'm somewhere remote like this place I trust my instincts 100%. Sometimes I get an eerie feeling for no reason and I just leave. If I feel comfortable I proceed and always stay aware of my surroundings and possible ways to get away. Also I carry a hardcore alarm I can use if anything happens. In general I'm quite fit and strong so I can run like hell or punch if necessary (I did kickboxing for 6 months before I started traveling)
