You can just ride through the closed section. Been there the past couple of years to ride the track. First time missed out on the lakeside drive so went back last year. Too much traffic for my liking getting there and back. Glad you videoed it for us. Riding around Bathurst was the best. Also been to Winton and ridden around the outside of that track. You should do that. Plus there is a few good dirt tracks near by that go past the Ned Kelly house. Worth checking out.
I would love to get up that was and ride Bathurst, have done it in a car a few times but the bike would be special. We were there about 6am so wasn't much traffic around 🙌🏼
Very good video. In 2013 while touring France on my Honda ST1100 I did a lap of the Monte Carlo track 2 weeks after the F1 race. A week earlier I rode down the Mulsanne straight which is used in Le Mans 24hr race, they were getting it ready for the race. Great memories🏍
