Just share some info: Central and south jakarta is foreign and tourist area, west jakarta is china town area, east jakarta is local people area which more crowded and north jakarta is harbor area and industrial area. That's why living cost in central and south jakarta is higher than others.. but if you want to stay for a week, i suggest to find hotel arround BLOK M area in south jkt.. there are many option for food and transportation.. price around $30/day for 3stars hotel.

I always wonder why many beautiful Indonesian women are rarely exposed, even though there are many mixed races, Dutch, Japanese and Arab, in addition to those of Portuguese and UK !
@@NICEWEEK the majority of Indonesian people are Muslim, and Indonesian women believe that "wrapped candy can avoid crowds of ants compared to open candy" meaning that by not exposing themselves they will avoid various crimes that might hurt and tarnish their honor, and Indonesian women are very protective their honor.
It certainly exposed if u search it in right place, wherever i go there's always ton of beautiful girl, im one of them ahahahah, especially if u search it in where youngster go, like malls, park, pik ETC. Especially the high end mall, go around Grand indonesia, Pacific place, i mean even u can see a lot of beautiful girl in kelapa gading. And no, we dont need to be mix with other countries to be pretty, there's ton of pure indonesian who is beautiful.

That's why I don't like when asking locals, they always point you to some challenge food, not something you can enjoy. There are lots of better food places than nasi mercon. Indonesia got many food spicy and whatnot, but nasi mercon is not one of them. It is there to satisfy your adrenalin, not your taste bud. One of the reason why I was so happy when angie from mci gave a food tour.
