This short film is about my journey to the world's most dangerous mountain K2.
It was always my childhood dream to go and see the mountains in karakoram with my own eyes.
But it was never going to be easy for a "normal person" like myself and on top of everything
I have had multiple health issues which are just not suited for high altitude trekking and that's why I don't want you to think of my thumbnail as a potential clickbait :P. I genuinely have serious health issue and even walking to BC is very dangerous for me.
This video shows my challenges and amazing scenery of North Pakistan.
Trekking in Karakoram is very very demanding because of the following reasons:
-No toilets, showers, hotel rooms, no internet, no phones
-Trekking infrastructure is not as developed as in for example Nepal
-Conditions like weather is extreme compared to any other mountain range
What I ended up gaining was an experience of a lifetime:
-This is by far the most beautiful mountain route in the world
-Unlike Everest BC the views hit you from day 1
-Mountains in karakoram are the most dangerous in the world
-You get a true experience of mountains
-After one year I still think of those mountains every single day!
