Har du chans att åka till Kungsbackafjörden eller Lökeberg skulle jag rekommendera att åka dit. Röda Sten kanske på sommaren, nu på våren när vattnet är kallt skulle jag fiska havsöring i vikar med riktigt grunt vatten.

Lysekil? Well, mackerel comes in the middle of June or beginning of July to the area. So, you have some time to prepare🙂

Mackerel goes really away from the shore and I guess deep as well. On the other hand sea trout fishing season starts 1 st of April

There are few lakes that seem to be not included into any fishing association and do not require any fishing license, like Finnsjön and Vällsjön in Mölnlycke. You can try to fish perch and pike over there, but I usually go to other lakes included into Gula Kortet

@@alivtech3215 Yes, you must have it to fish all the way to Kungälv both in Göta älv and Nordre älv. Then from Kungälv up to the north it's another licence as far as I remember

You can try Lilla Varholmen, south of the island. But it's getting warm now and more difficult to fish sea trout. Try to fish during sunrise and sunset (not sure if it's going to work with public transport during these hours). This video is actually from Hästeviks Badplats, not far from Lilla Varholmen

@nordic.fishing thanks a lot! I was looking at a spot on Google maps around that area so I guess I'm on the right track for now haha, I'll give it a shot this evening. Just bought a new fishing setup yesterday. I'm here from New Zealand, can't wait to catch my first Swedish fish

Hi. There is no magic spot. It is going quite tough right now with cold water and east wind. Try shallow bays where the water is a bit warmer, fish during high tide (check apps with tides), try to fish at places with onshore wind or at the edges of current.
