Humbling! To think of the work it took to get there .. and then the tools are wheelbarrow just end up abandoned ... and we complain about having to shovel snow from the driveway!!! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
I love the contrast in watching this kind of content between the UK and North America in that American mines are always quite dry while the UK mines seem to be quite moist
Yes, most of the mines exored in America seem to be in dessert regions so dry, I much prefer wet mines for their formations etc. Plus we are lucky to have stone arching in our area :)
This was fantastic. Firstly, I felt sick watching you all crossing that pipe, lol. The calcite must've been beautiful, and i loved the barrows and old rounded spades. I haven't seen one of those spades since i was a child! Overall, I've loved the length of this video too, i get to see so much more of such a great explore! Thanks to you all! 😊
Top Deck shandy is one of those icons of the 1970's! As is South Sea Lemon... A real time capsule. There is a section of the caves under Audley Edge very similar indeed to those first three rails over a drop.
I don't remember seeing a top deck shandy in there. Alderley Edge mines are ones I dreaming exoring. Irony is, I was bought up in that area, but had no clue about their existence.
