Thanks for your reply to my comment. I also ride my Harley softail Heritage Classic more than my CRF300L. I just missed having something to ride in the dirt. I love camping from both. I don't feel like 71 is old, it just sounds that way. Right now is between seasons. I'm waiting for more ski resorts to open but there's too much snow for the bike riding to be good. Hope you get your van exactly as you want it. I'll keep watching for your videos when you feel like it
Hello, I was sooooo happy to see I current video of yours recently (I keep looking). I started watching your dual sport camping videos some time ago and yours are my favorite out there. I am an old guy (71) and I was lucky enough last year to be one of the first to get one of the new Honda CRF300L's I live in a small rural mountain valley in the north eastern tip of California so I have many thousands of miles of trails very close to m y house. Toward the end of last summer you were working on converting a van. If anything ever takes you out to my part of the country I would be honored to ride with you and show you around this area. My place also makes a nice base (A 3,200 sq ft four bath house in the middle of a 20 acre yard). Hope to see lots more of your videos, especially the camping ones. By the way, when I got my Honda last year I talked a friend my age that had never ridden before into buying a TW200. I'm pretty sure he's happy with his choice. Thanks for your very enjoyable videos
hey glad to hear! been not putting out as many videos, cause I have been working more on my van build. glad to hear! those are my favorite to make. very good to hear! congrats and so cool your riding at 71. that's a great place to be! maybe once I finish my van build ill be traveling around the country more. thanks so much. glad to hear, ride safe!
Ahhh the joy of seeing a new Tdubskid riding video in your feed. I know it must get exhausting making these after all these years but we still love watching them. Keep it up! As long as you aren’t burning yourself out lol
haha glad to hear! yeah it's been to long, been working on van videos on my other channel. it does but I enjoy watching a video come together. got one I filmed me living in my 4runner with the tw200 on the back for a whole week. ill keep them coming. probably tw200 light bar vid next
This is the second time I’ve seen South Platte in your videos. It’s kinda cool because I live in North Platte. Literally about 250 miles down river. Right between the North Platte and South Platte rivers.
Great video as usual. Just tried out my new JNS dot headlight.. WOW , what a difference from the stock light. I don't have to be afraid to ride home at night now. Thanks for the tutorial Dubs. Foot pegs, and 45 tooth rear sprocket change tomorrow .
Hey kid, never a boring video. Always love the drone part, Colorado mountains are beautiful. I made the move! No more LONG ISLAND N.Y. Im in bowling green k.y. good to see you again. I'm still on the lookout for a tdub. Your last post you mentioned insomnia, any better? That S&%@# will make you crazy, I've had it. Till next time Safe riding
Great ride, just got home from a 260 mile round trip T-Dub camping trip with only 16 miles of highway. My sweetheart and I both have T-Dubs. Looks like you guys had some fun!
That's basically the exact area we went to on the pie I invited you to. Georgia Pass dips into Breckenridge. I haven't done it yet, because it was snowed-in when we went up there, but if you can get to it from the East side, you could do the whole thing. I wrote this big rant about off road 4x4 etiquette. People are nuts.
oh nice! yeah I heard about that. but only doable certain times of the year. haha yeah I have seen some road rage in rampart with a car and dirt bikers once
ive never understood wanting to see other countries because theres so much to see here in America. i dont want to see any of them till ive seen all that my own has to offer. probably going to take my entire life to see all of America.
Hey their my friend. I see you and your friend TW are still out enjoying your state. I follow you and another Tuber and her channel, "Itchyboots" . She is passing thru your state right now if you haven't checked on her. She's from the Netherlands but soloing on back roads from Paraguay to Alaska. Her recent videos are around Silvertown and Lake City. Wow, talk about 12,000 ft passes and still tons of snow. Amazing areas. You think the little TWs would operate that high? She is on a 300 injected and felt power loss. Ride safe.
hey there! thanks for watching. I have heard of her. cool stuff, yeah the snow takes forever to melt up that high, usually august and September is the best time. yeah I have ridden the TW that high manytimes. any engine will have power loss up that high unless you have forced induction. thanks
haha been doing van videos on my other channel but I need to get more out on here. will be good when I finally get through all my already filmed tw content
If I can figure out how to create a route and send it to you, I know how to get to Breckenridge from this area using almost only back roads and dirt roads. If I remember right, you only ride on highway 285 for about 2 miles of it. It's a super fun ride to do!
Great vid man 🤙🏻 Glad to see some more of Colorado! Drives me nuts that i live in the Adirondacks and there are no off road parks or trails to ride like out your way. Well some day ill make it out your way with the drz !
very cool been up in that hayman area a bunch havent been that route to get to wellington reservoir I'll have to try that route next time. That burn area isn't likely to have any trees for a long time supposibly it got so hot in that fire it sterilized the soil to the point it cant even support tree growth anymore.
for sure! neat area, lot of cool riding near the end by lake George. yeah it was cool but the road was a bit boring. neat to know where all the roads go. wow that's crazy. it's like a desert there almost
Well done sir as always. If I can finally make it out to CO next summer I'll be finding you to go do more of this! Midwest riding just doesn't have the same zest.
Yo! I live in Southern Colorado near Antonito. There are massive amounts of forest roads and mountain trails to explore all around me. I ride out here alone and would love the chance to explore further with other people. Holler anytime if you want to come down here. RV, Tent, Cabins available right here where I ride and I can also help with accomdation if needed. Free camping available all over the national forests. You would love it! Instagram msg sent.
I always enjoy your videos. It was a great video to watch even though you thought it was boring it wasn't very enjoyable. By the way my 2015 tw200 cam seized. I don't know what would have caused it if you have any ideals?
There are certain surfaces and conditions where the only bike in the world you're gonna wanna have is a TW200... I have a T-Dub and a Suzuki DR650 and there are situations where I would very much choose the TW over the DR any day.
Hello! Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Good to see you riding again, Wes! I have some custom upgrade parts for your TW that I am not using and may be of use to you. Send me a PM if you might be interested... - reddave in Bailey
