Specifically when I found a vault and went to explore it but ended up running back out from fear🤣 It was mainly Vault 111, every time I dropped down into there I got terrified from the darkness and the mobs lol
though it wasn't my favorite it sometimes creeped me out to the point i couldn't even play it during the day it always felt like there was someone watching me
Fallout Mashup pack was the most important for me (besides the Christmas one), since it introduced Jazz and Blues to me. Also it introduced Fallout to me.
As I remember, *Halloween 2015* was one of the most fun I had in minecraft, Rollercoasters, That one eye log that opens the door at the spawn, That *BIG* castle, and one of my favorite builds in there is that one Tentacle Creeper, and also the park. *Festive* mashup was pretty fun, even his soundtracks is relaxing, Kyoto and Flake, and I didn't explore *Greek* that much, but I just found a maze, then a medusa build. *Mass effect* is nice, but i dont like it that much, huge builds, and alot of cool stuff. And yes the ender dragon also changes in every game, and in *chinese* the ender dragon is nice detailed! This is one of the best mashups on my list, I love them, wish I played them again..
The giant Trojan soldier was called the Colossus of Rhodes and was made as a tribute to Helios, the palace you couldn’t name is almost definitely meant to be Olympus
The most cool thing about these maps is the hunt for music discs. There are 12 discs to be encountered across each map inside of some constructions. One of the most fun is the Greek Mythology, because the discs are hidden in places with challenges, like climb Colossus of Rhodes and solve the Minotaur's Labyrinth. I personally like the fallout map because of the songs and the construction's complexity, you can find a vault out of nowhere and need to make the correct path to find the music disc (or not) and need to get out of there also. Another thing: the maps of the franchises are very accurate. If you ever have the chance of playing these maps, do it, you won't regret it.
I remember just sitting around in the Chinese map just enjoying the music and chilling. Also you forgot my favourite part of the Ancient Greek map that me and my brother were scared of, the labyrinth whit the Minotaur
Man it’s crazy to see all these maps after many many years. The festive map definitely is the most memorable but I also really like the Chinese one. Find it insane that I still remember most of these structures.
Ngl, my favourite mashup was adventure time, the map legit took me and my bro an entire year to fully explore. And the music was so great, especially considering myself hiding inside the house
The Christmas mashup was so amazing. I remember just exploring the demo “you can’t save” version for hours and enjoy the vibes it had. Same with the Halloween pack! Just brings me back to a more care free time :)
I remember playing the "Super Mario Mashup Pack" on the Wii U for the first time. The nostalgia of booting minecraft up for the first time and hearing the mario soundtrack. The editing on this video is insane how does this not have more views.

Bro the halo mashup pack has got to be the best and most iconic mashup for me, it’s also what got me into halo in the first before I would stop playing it after 343 failed with halo infinite but the soundtrack they used for the world just gave me absolute bliss especially the song “insignificantia” aka “all sloppy no joe”
These were all just so nostalgic. I still remember sitting on a mattress in the basement of my friends house, playing the Christmas mashup just to renovate the big house infront of the Christmas tree into our own mansion for the 192819 time. Due to nostalgia I remember both the Greek and Chinese mythology maps to be so much bigger tbh. I also for some reason remember being super hyped about a nightmare before Christmas mashup because it had a little city in it but I don’t remember if that was actually real or just some dream I had in my childhoo.. Anyways these maps are all just awesome
I remember when i got an xbox 360 when i was 7 years old. It was a christmas gift, and i used to play minecraft a lot. I remember many of these mashup packs, specially the fallout one, since that was the one where i discovered the fallout franchise and became a huge fan years later. All i remember was that i had 6 of these mashup packs, which were the halo mashup, the halloween mashup, the greek mythology mashup, the fallout mashup, the adventure time mashup and the christmas mashup. They were very fun to play in and explore at that age. Until my xbox 360 died for no actual reason. now years later it makes me want to cry when i remember those times when i used to play those miencraft mashups that were very fun for me.
Halo and Fallout always had and always will hold special places in my heart. I already knew what Halo was at the time (And even was a fan of it), But Fallout was new to me. Minecraft encouraged me to give it a shot. Good times Adventure Time and Mario where never big in my childhood (yeah i missed out) but my friends (and even family) Still feel very nostalgic about those, so I suppose I'm speaking on behalf of them there.
I remember all of these, and these are my favorite memories of me playing mc for. I use to play different texture packs with my cousins and their friends, but these were the best. When all my friends ask me, "Why don't you play minecraft anymore?" I simply tell them because mc isn't peak anymore. These old maps and old textures were extremely goated, playing mc during these times is unbeatable.
i remember playing some of these, (specifically halloween, greek mythology, festive, fallout, adventure time, mass effect, and he didnt list this one, but the nightmare before christmas and little big planet) and we didnt buy them, so we couldnt save any of the worlds. i also remember covering finn and jakes treehouse in water- 😭
I remember, back in 2014 or 15, I would always ask to play my older half brothers xbox 360, at the time he was learning building in real life and used minecraft as a tool for designing. Anyways he showed me the basics if the game and would occasionally let me play, After watching this video, I remembered every single mashup pack I have played, the mithology, skyrim, adventure time( which since I live in hungary I didn't know what it was), fallout which would always scare me😅, but one stuck out, the festive one, I just spent sooo soo sooooo much time playing on it, it just amazed me how they managed to make something as beautifully designed as that, while I could barely make a wooden box. Tough the most nostalgic thing to me, is the xbox 360 tutorial world, no not the one that has the castle, but the one that had the dogs and animals in fenced off little huts when you walked up the main stairs. I would always hide away there during the night because I tought zombies were very dangeorous😂. After I discovered creative mode I realised I could play the game completely freely so I started going around the map exploring the entire world, I remember even getting to the ice spikes biome, which technically wasn't even in the game yet. I also remember watching minecraft "movies" in hungarian because I didn't know english at the time. One that stood out was I think the "Halász kunyhó" or something like that, I would always ask my brother to make me a working car in minecraft, since I saw that in the video and didn't know that you could just cut a png over you flying over a road at the time. Good old days, when I didn't have to worry about world politics, wars, tragedies, and most of all realising that you are growing up... You no longer are your older self, you now own responsibility for yourself and what you do. You slowly realise that growing up and being an adult... isn't actually fun and exciting. And I wish that I knew this at that age but. "Just enjoy your childhood for as long as you can, don't get locked down by the hyperspace of the intenet and see yourself aging like milk. Don't be wishing to grow up, your life only get's harder, these are the best years of your life and you are never going to be able to return, so enjoy it while you can!" I fell into the trap of politics and ideologies while I was young, and now it is like an addiction, I can't stop no matter what I do I will always find myself politicising about wars, conflicts, overall political life, and I just can't stop. And what caused this, the fact that I was exposed to the internet at a very young age, I was able to create a based opinion and start representing it without my parents knowing or being able to do anything about it. I... I am very sad that this is probably impossible to explain to a 5yr old like I was, and they will fall into the same trap as me. Or something similar. Anyways.... Man i needed to see this, i started playing minecraft on my Wii U when it wad 2015, now im 15 yrs old... seeing all the old mashups makes me feel so nostalgic i cant even put it into words. Thank you Btw i always used to put everything on fire and blow up everything so one time my Wii crashes because there was so much fire😅

As a person who started playing minecraft on the ps3 and xbox360 i enjoyed all of them excluding the festive one and Halloween one and the little big planet one and the halo one and the mass effect one and the skyrim one and fallout it was just me playing them as a little kid

I used to play the Christmas map so much, I would fly through the railways, make secret tunnels between places, make my own creations in the theme of the world. I was about 7-9 at the time. Man, those were the days. Pure simplicity, fun, and blissfully ignorant (I don’t wanna be like one of those classic r/im14andthisisdeep posts, but looking back as a teen now, I miss it.
I still play Legacy Edition on PSVita, it's really good, and yeah, i love the Mashup Packs. My favorites are The Nightmare Before Christmas, Greece Mythology, Pirates of The Caribbean and Fallout 👍.
Whenever i'd boot up Minecraft on my brother's PS4, I would just play every Mash-up pack. They were, and always will be, my favorite part of Minecraft.
The festive mashup pack I played TONS even after Christmas just exploring the map and it made my parents mad when it got to a certain part where they said it sounded like someone was "squeaking a balloon" and they didn't like the noise. Not gonna lie I have bought the new version recently and it kind of sucks. The new things don't get me wrong are great but the crafting and creative inventories make no sense and take ages to find things. The game also just seems weirdly more buggy in terms of the menus not responding sometimes and I don't understand why they changed the menu to look like the pocket edition version of Minecraft as it really sucks. You can really tell that Microsoft owns it now though! Buggy, laggy and a nonsense menu system like windows 11 and the xbox one that's very buggy!
