I’ve done watched several of y’all’s videos after finding them. Very easy to watch and seem real. What time of the year we’re you in Nuremberg? We are going there this Nov.
Howdy Folks, New subscriber here.I am an American that had lived a total of six years (US Army and four years as a kid because my dad was in the US Army as well. )of my life in Germany and I visit often. I ran across your video and I am so glad that I did. I enjoyed your walk around the town and seeing some of my favorite places. I absolutely love the Nurnberger bratwurst and of course all of the fresh gingerbread/cookies everywhere :). I have to ask, have you ever had "Spaghetti Eis? " I am eating spaghetti eis in my profile picture lol. That stinks that the Christmas Markets were not available. I took my wife and kids to Germany for Christmas for the markets but we made the best of it anyway lol. However, we did find a smaller version of a Christman market in Frankfurt and Heidelberg :). We also found a larger (but smaller scale, I hope that made sense), Christmas Market, down in Salzburg. I am looking forward to checking out more of your videos. I also have a channel that is all about Germany and I hope that you will check it out. Let's keep in touch :).
Hey Darion! Thanks for watching and for your comments! We LOVE Germany too. One of our favorite places. We are particularly fond of Bavaria. We spent 1 month of our current 6 month sabbatical there over Christmas in Garmisch Partenkirchen. Looking forward to checking out your channel!
@@awaytogether You are very welcome. I love Bavaria and especially Garmisch-Partinkirchen. My family and I were in Garmisch during Christmas as well. We may have crossed paths and not even realized it lol. Garmisch is my "go to" for sure. I actually broke my leg on the Alpspitze back in July of 2021 and I had surgery, spending nine days in a Garmisch hospital. I am looking forward to my next trip to Garmisch in June 2022 as I am hosting a RU-vid meetup on top of the Zugspitze. If you are around that would be awesome if you both stop by :). BTW, I have a FaceBook group with the same title as my YT channel and you will see the information :). I need some "Spaghetti Eis" lol. :).
I ended up having them the whole time we were in Bavaria. In certain places you could just order a plate of like 15 of those little sausages with no bun. Definitely did. 😳
That is not like a bretzel should look like. The bavarians make the thin parts much to thick and the salt grains should be bigger. You have to go to swabia (and not the bavarian part of swabia) to get the right kind of bretzels.
*Well, that's, like music, a matter of taste and taste is subjective. I'm from Bavaria, and I would prefer Bavarian "Brez'n" over Swabian any day. I mean real Bavarian "Brezen".......Nuremberg is in Franconia...what I mean is Upper Bavaria......Munich....that's the real deal.....Greetings from Munich.* 🔥😈❤🔥😎🥨
