My mother has one grandmother from St. Kitts and one grandmother from Nevis. We know nothing about those islands and struggle to find any family info on them before her grandmothers moved to the V.I... but I love watching your videos. I always look at the people you pass by and wonder which ones could be related to me. ☺
Family Search has a very good database of death, birth, and marriage records from 1859 to 1932. It's free, you just have to make a account. You should be able to find a lot of info on them from that.
@@stkittsandnevisislandlife2117 You're welcome! To find the database just Google, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Civil Registration, 1859-1932 Family search, and it'll be there.👍
Thanks bro! I am so loving these videos man, takes me all the way back to '98 after Georges. Was part of a Cable & Wireless team from St.Lucia. Worked hard, played twice as hard! Best time of my life and here you are driving me down memory lane..
Am so glad that some one is talking about St,Kitts ,Because of it size ,some bigger countries call it small Island Some never visit St Kitts ,Am so glad that others see it as a beautiful country ,And friendly people ,I love my country and I go back when I could So thank you for showing off St Kitts To the rest of the Caribbean and the world
Are there descendants of the Caribs still living in St. Kitts? Some years ago on a visit to Dominica, we were shown Carib villages and Carib descendants still living on that island. Just wondering if this is the same for St. Kitts and Nevis.
Well according to the history that i read the British and the French slaughter over 2000 of them like animals 😢😥 in 1626, The Caribe's were here first, then the British and the French arrived, so at some point the Caribes attack the invaders and everyone of them were killed😓🥺, history states the were blood in a gutt for days, the area later called bloody Point, a real sad story, but no the are no Caribes to my knowledge in St kitts and Nevis today
You know by now I love your vlogs and for me this one was perfect you went through my favourite place. I have a bottle of Old Road Rum in my lounge. Tourists just vlog their tours on the buses but you show the real St Kitts. Roll on December got my annual trip booked can't wait.
